I am a student at university looking to make a bit of extra cash.

I can offer my services to create scripts in Matlab to perform your custom task. This can either be as simple as automatically moving files around in your computer, to reading in large (or small) amounts of data from files(e.g. .txt files) or creating a tool to analyse data.

Pricing
Pricing of the script really depends on the complexity and time taken to write it, however for an average script I would estimate it to cost 20$

My experience:
I previously worked at a large oil company creating executable applications to analyse batch data.

A few things to mention:
- I will not script anything to be used in illegal activities
- Once a script is finished, it will be sent to you so that you can run it on your own computer. This requires a Matlab license, this can be purchased for £28 (recommended) or downloaded from the internet.
- Updates/new additions can be added to a script for an extra cost
- I will fix any problems for the first 3 months and give unlimited support for as long as I am active on Sythe.

Glad to have your service here at sythe. What's your typical price range? I know it varies by script , but do you have like a general range?

 

As I am just starting out, I could do an easy script for free, however as for pricing I am not too sure.

It would really depend upon the complexity of the script, but for a script of medium complexity I would estimate maybe 50$? I would need a little guidance on this, would that seem about right?
