Best Way to sell original owner main acc?

Hey,
I'm quitting rs3 for good because I'm start college next fall and need the cash for my book, living expenses, etc. And I'm wondering th best way to sell an account of this magnitude. Its a wonderful account and means a lot to me, but I realize I have to move on. If anyone can answer my quest, it would mean a lot.
Some details on the account:
Extremely rare and recognizable rsn
no bans or marks
Over 290 qps and elf city ready
I'm the only and original owner
99+ dungeoneering
ports all the way to jade resource
combatant's cape

 

If it means a lot to you, why not keep it? I highly doubt that the money you make off that account would satisfy your living expenses, as well as your books. Unless you're living in a country like Lithuania, it's not probable.

OP I would make a thread in the Account sales section under the subforum Main Accounts levels 138. Follow all of the stickies and required photo proofs to sell an account, and also clearly indicate what type of payment methods you will be accepting for your account. I would recommend runescspe gold or bitcoins, as they are both irreversible forms of currency, making it safer for you.

When you find a buyer and you are both ready to initiate the trade, I would recommend using a middleman (preferably a high donator and vouched one) ps: always be careful with who you trust. Then make sure you as for a pm to confirm the middleman's identity and also cross reference his Skype name with the one listed on his profile/thread.

Once your trade is complete you can easily sell the gold/bitcoins you receive for PayPal or bank transfer to a highly reputable member of this site (any major gold buyer/donator)

Please remember of your buyer gets the account locked or somehow needs help recovering it you are obliged to help him, otherwise you risk being permanently banned.

If you follow these guidelines your sale should go 100% smoothly and worry-free.

 

While that may be true, his reasoning for wanting to sell the account is to buy books for college, and have money for living expenses. The unfortunate reality is he wouldn't be able to buy 1 book with the money he might get from selling the account. I don't know where he resides in the world, but it's better I let him know regardless.

Sad to see a player part from RS, but it would definitely help you move on from RS and stay focused on other, more important things.

Use Hamouze's links and you'll be on the right track. Just make sure you can provide a lot of information about the account for the buyer; things such as a list of previous passwords dating back as early as you can remember, old recovery questions, creation ISP, IP, and state/country, any time you've moved, etc. Best of luck selling it safely and fairly.

List it everywhere. PA, black market forums, craigslist. You only should be selling an account once, if it's an important source of revenue for you, might as well shop around and find the best offer possible.
