Where to start?

Well, today i camed to a conclusion that programming might not be for me... Well personally i don't wan't it as i like to make things, and want to see myself as a programmer in the future, but i kind of suck at it...

first of all programming experience:
(2 years) learning in school pascal, delphi, qbasic...
As a trainee
Its been a 4th day as a trainee, i am using visual c#, at the moment making Setup window application.. Basically he gives us tasks what we need to make and then we have to make it (he is rarely here so most of the time my teacher is Google)

Well i understand what i need to make(atleast i think so) , but i don't understand how to make it...

I know the basic stuff of programming loops etc..(atleast i think so, that i know them well ) the person who is teaching me gives me more and more tasks and i can't really keep up with the first tasks... (each day a new tasks),
first day was to make a design for the Setup,
2nd day Usercontrols, (somehow i made these two +- correct)
3rd day and this 4th day Md5 hash file , that you need to store in dictionary and afterwards checksum all folder files (compare and then show which hashes doesnt match and which hashes isnt even there)...

Well it might be basic stuff, but i don't understand how to make them... and what to do now exactly... ? Atm Reading shit tons of tutorials/help requests of what i need to make, or similliar to that in stackoverflow etc.. doesn't really help as i rearly can find similliar examples and don't really understand microsoft tutorials .. Maybe the problem is that i don't know as much as i need to basics? And i should start from scratch?

Well in the end im totally lost...

TLDR: What should i do...?

Maybe anyone can suggest me free/Paid tutorials for c# or basic stuff that i need to learn?

 

It seems like a thrown in at the deep-end situation for you, and from past experience I've found that to be the best experience.

It's difficult yeah, and remember you are a trainee so although there's an expectation from you these tasks are obviously made to make it difficult for you. As well as working under pressure to get a task done within a certain time frame.

I personally believe your ability is there, but confidence and motivation is lacking as it's getting difficult. Perhaps take a break for a few hours, evaluate your thoughts then come back to it.

 

As SmokeHut said, just take a break for a few hours and evaluate. And also study, when you're at home, look up some youtube videos or google some free ebooks. Plenty of stuff out there to help you
