So I am around 6'1 or so and I hover between 220 to 230, with a not super athletic body type. My goal at the moment is to switch my entire soda intake for water, and maybe allow myself maybe 1 bottle tea daily in the morning. I am wondering if this will have any serious impact on me negatively?

Not necessarily, you'll have a slight reaction if you drink so much soda that you're caffeine/sugar dependent. If you crash hard don't revert back through just tough it out.

I wouldn't say that. They have a specific conversion formula for water intake.

It's like half or 2 times your weight. Whatever that number is, you drink that many ounces.

You will feel so much better after you switch to water. You might feel a little tired at first if you depend on caffeine but afterwards you will see a change.

Soft drinks are easily the most nutrient deficient thing in a diet. I stopped buying soft drinks and started buying milk + orange juice instead. I mostly drink water, but if I have a sweets craving, I'll drink orange juice instead of a soda.

Soda quiting at first you will get caffeine withdraws and headaches as caffeine is a drug. After that on strictly water you will feel amazing. I'm on about 6 years no soda at all I took a sip the other day and got the air farts like no other and felt sick.

Tea is good to help speed up your metabolism a bit.

All in all you will feel a major difference in a good way with dropping soda. I currently drink a gallon n 1/2 each day and feel great from it. Don't get me wrong I kill a monster here and there I love them soo much.

Try it man you will have to feel the difference for yourself in a week you can notice the major change once you try to drink one again.

I'm wondering how much soda you've been getting per day on average. It's also been over 3 weeks, so how's that working for you?

By depending on something sweet for a long time, I'd find it quite the challenge if you managed to successfully make the transition and started drinking water instead of soda.

I stopped drinking soda for over a year now and it's phenomenal. I can't say anything about weight because I'm 6"2 and weigh 115 lbs so I'm really skinny, but I'm saying how it just makes my body feel. Water is amazing, nuff said.
