Ecstasy

The majority of people on here probably have never tried ecstasy, but the ones that have! Please comment.

Me personally, I used to do it a lot when I was young n dumb! Now I do it very occasionally (music festivals or big nights out). I personally think it makes the music sound better, makes me feel more connected with my friends, gives me a burst of energy and a sense of euphoria. It hasn't had any negative effects on my life what-so-ever and I much prefer the feeling over being drunk.

Whats your opinion on ecstasy? Have you tried it? What do you like about it? Has it had any negative effects on your life?

 

Yes i've tried it around 3 times now, my come-down from ectasy lasts for a long time and they are awful which is why i try not to do it as much, but it was an intense buzz, felt like i was friends with everyone and i did enjoy it.

 

Tried it a few times but I don't like it, as i've gotten a bit older I tend to stay clear of drugs that can kill (E, ket etc) in favour of coke and the occasional stoner session. At the end of the day, you really don't know what's in the shit your taking when it comes to E, and that scares me. especially when you're paying 5 bucks for one at a few musical festivals i've been to.

 

Coke is a very clean drug, and yeah the shit at festivals don't mess with that, got sold false pills there once and assume it was some other shit, spent the rest of the night tripping complete balls in my tent XD

 

I don't really tend to get a bad comedown to be honest! Many of my friends do but I generally don't think they're that bad! Especially as festivals, the excitement over-comes the comedown

 

Yeah never really get it at festivals, but got sold some dodgy stuff there once, didn't end well.

 

Ooo not many people I know that have tried it and said they don't like it! Everyones different though, yeah that's fair enough. I have to disagree though, I know most people don't know what they are taking - however when I get stuff, I know excactly what I'm taking and it's the real deal, I don't buy off strangers!

But yeah, most of my friends love coke - never really been a huge fan of it, way too expensive and don't really get anything from it apart from wanting to smoke fags lol

 

I haven't tried it, and don't plan to. A guy at my school recently got busted for selling to three minors; he's out on bail but has trial in 6 months and is totally fucked. I wasn't too close with him but he was one of my best friend's friend. And one of my long-term best friends (bro's friend, but a huge part of my life) got busted yesterday for having ecstasy, LSD, pot, and amphetamines. His charges are currently 5 felonies & 1 misdemeanor. I've never been against drugs, but it definitely turns me off to the idea of them now that someone I personally am close to is being punished for being involved with them. So, individually and physically, ecstasy hasn't effected me. However, personally and emotionally, it really bums me out.

Only drug I've ever done: shrooms once.

It was a few weeks ago and I can definitely say it was a fun trip. But, with recent events, I don't feel comfortable doing drugs again anytime soon. I guess I'd rather stay on the safe side of things than have a good night. Some of my friends laugh that I've done shrooms, but haven't even smoked pot. I don't know what drew me to shrooms, but they were definitely fun. They were also kinda bad though: They made me more bored for the following week or so to the point where I'd rather just sleep to pass through the days and it was making me a bit sad honestly.

 

I see, however may I add - there is a huge difference between doing drugs yourself and selling drugs/giving to drugs to other people.

The chances of you getting arrested for having drugs on you are slim to none, a caution at most - but yeah I've tried shrooms myself in amsterdam and was one of the funniest experiences of my life, felt like I was in a real life quest haha

 

I'm not saying I'm uncomfortable to do drugs because I could get caught, but more because it makes me upset that because my friend got so involved in drugs, regardless of the fact of how good and smart he is, that his life is going to be ruined (at least temporarily). He will lose his scholarship and be kicked out of school. For the charges he currently has, he could easily go to jail until he's 40. I'm sure I'll experiment again eventually, but it really bums me out to the point where I don't have the desire to right now.

 

I see, yeah some people get wrapped up easily in drugs, especially the ones that realise the huge profit that can be made by simply selling them. Obviously I don't know the full story but I doubt he will serve a jail sentence if it's his first offense, and if he does it it will be a short one!

Haha, I noticed that to.. I chose to ignore it, you'll be lucky to get 25% coke in the UK.. It's cut at least 10 times before it hits the street!

 

Just meant the actual experience, not the actual coke, it's a clean nice vibe in general but ya'know D:

 

I done it once, made me gay for the night. When I took it I wanted to fuck me friend. After that I got sick for a few hours. Never taken it again.

 

I tried it for the first time tent camping with my friend close to his house. This was last year I think. We ended up walking around looking at the streetlights in the cold night air and feeling like a million bucks. I've done it a few times since then, I definitely don't go seeking it out or anything for health reasons but if someone wants to offer it to me and I know its legit I'll do it with them.

 

I know this seems obvious but seriously, have sex at least once while you're rolling and cuddle afterwards. It is divine.

 

Had E a few times, never buy it at a festival though
