Where do you see Runescape 2007 in the next few years? (3-5 years)

Yes I hope 07 grows and perhaps jagex will do something dramatic like give it it's own full feature website or change its name etc and stuff so it doesn't feel like the - off topic game they are treating it like. Hoping jagex wont fuck it all up like they usually do. AND HELL NO TO CLAWS last thing i want to see are you cunts sitting in lvl 1 wild trying to pj people. I never pk below lvl 10 wild so not so much a problem for me but still, get good.

best wishes for 07 scape, I spent the last month playing eoc and It just sucks for me ( Im good at it too ) Needs massive work done to runescape 3 but might already be too late, the game is no longer the powerhouse it used to be and eoc continues like this itl probably just make runescape settle into place alongside the endless list of other average mmo's

 

and yea i suppose an optional graphics update would be really neat. i remember for a while you could switch between good graphics and standard. I think that was in 2010-2011? I preferred oldschool graphics but I know most people were playing on the upgraded settings back then.

 

I hope the best for OSRS as well man! The OSRS team is quite small compared to RS3 so it would take a really, really long time for a major graphical update to happen

 

Jagex is all in it for doing what the players want so they can earn more money, so I could see there being claws, graphic update, etc in the future.

 

I highly doubt claws would pass to be honest.

 

I hope a graphic update isn't added, I mean, really, why not just play RS3 legacy if people want all these changes and new implementations? I support a trading system, but I personally like the old graphics.

I agree. I think they should develop OSRS with fresh updates instead of adding implementations that are already on RS3.

They're coming out with new content, which I didn't expect. I think if they keep adding new stuff slowly that isn't completely game changing, then OSRS will survive and eventually become bigger than it already is.

 

I agree. Hopefully it gets bigger than the main game soon so Jagex can refocus their attention on the version of the game thats actually better (OSRS).

Then again I wouldnt want the bot detection system they have in rs3

 

I'm telling you all, with the continuing decline of revenue (forget where I saw the graphs), Jagex will end Runescape before it actually dies out.

 

The graphs show that runescape is actually growing, I don't see how that is a decline in revenue

hmm why do you think so? Its been at a 20-23k player base @ peak times for the past year and a half now.

 

Hopefully it gets more and more players, I know it will never be the same as the original runescape in 2007, but if it had even half the players it would be a lot better
