Alcohol | Redd Wicked Apple Ale Review | 2nd Edition |

Always loved the original Redd Apple Ale but with the new Wicked Apple Ale with more alcohol content, I thought I'd give it a go. And let me tell you, WOW.

Price: Around 2$ per can for a single 24 oz. can. I bought 5 of these this weekend and drank em easily. You can get them smaller and in different packs. I just found these first and went with them.

In the bottle: Kind of big and bulky. I felt like I was carrying around an energy drink and couldn't fit it nicely into a coozie.

In the mouth: You taste straight apple cider. There is a tiny, tiny, tiny hint of alcohol but nearly none. It is so smooth that I didn't feel like I was drinking alcohol.

Swallow: Very refreshing and goes down too smooth. You would have no problem with drinking this casually. You won't have that grimacing look after a drink.

Overall: 9/10

I thoroughly enjoyed them and will be getting them again very soon. They're fairly cheap for the amount you get and can get you a very nice buzz that'll leave you refreshed when you awaken the next morning. It doesn't have that after taste of a beer or anything. One of the smoothest alcoholic drinks I've had. It does have a little bit of carbonation to it but not that much at all.

Very easy to slam down and get drunk quick if you really wanted that. However, I highly suggest drinking it and enjoying it.

Blacking out is always an option...always.

 

Hmm, I may have to pick these up. You like them more then the standard redds?

Yes I like the Wickeds better. I think they're smoother and higher alcohol content so you're getting a good deal.

There are all sorts of flavors man, its quite ridiculous. There is an alcohol for pretty much anyone no matter your preference.

 

Ight, I'm usually more of a liquor guy tbh, but I'll definitely check out the Wickeds sometime in the near future.

 

I'm same way. I normally drink liquor but I like to throw these in once in awhile.

Sorry but thats a hyped up bitch beer, granted the majority of sythe is underage gamer faggots that probably sneak these and other wine coolers (one by one so mom doesnt notice amirite XD) from their parents. Some of us are of age, post real drinks.

Lol they sell Redds here in polish shops. It tastes nice actually, but has an aftertaste of cheap lager with black. Have you tried blueberry Nordic cider?

As in brands like Bud Light, Busch, etc? Out of brands like that I'd take a Bud Light any day.

Brands like Heineken, Dos Equis, etc. I'm not sure on that. Heineken isn't bad.

I haven't tried Nordic. What do you suggest?

 

Bud light is my "go to" beer. I meant beers like Shiner Bock, Amstel light, etc. Beers that are fairly common, but not exactly mainstream.

Btw, your review inspired me to pick up a 12 pack of Redds Wicked Apple Ale, and it definitely deserved the 9/10 review you gave it. It was good, but it doesn't seem like a beer you'd want to drink daily.

And no, theres some tasty mixed drinks. But bitch beers arent my bag I can taste the added "malt beverage" a mile away. I liked this sort of shit when I was 13-15 or so and wore it out Then I grew to appreciate various beers and liquors rather than spiked sodas and juices.

And im pretty sure nobody here (aside from you) has any hesitation calling this a bitch beer either. If it says "flavored malt beverage" its a bitch beer.

What sort of beers are you into? I may be able to suggest some you'll like.
