Obsessive Worrying is ruining a lot of things for me.

Hey guys, first off thanks for taking time out of your day to read this.
I have been struggling with obsessive worrying since as long as i can remember, it effects my choices on a everyday basis, and really bothers me.
One of the main things i worry about is getting banned on the games i play.

Here is a example of how bad my worrying is.
I play a game on steam called ace of spades and i find it fun to flame people over the game (there is a profanity filter, and also a decent amount of people flame eachother) and sometimes i just say stuff thats pretty bad. Now you would think im worried about just getting banned on ace of spades, but its not just that. I found out Jagex is the creator of ace of spades, and as we all know jagex made runescape. So what im worrying about for some reason is im gonna get banned on Ace of spades and runescape, and (here is the crazy one) runescape private servers. I know this sounds stupid but i convince myself its gonna happen and it makes me not want to do the things I enjoy.

If you guys really want to help me out big time i would like for you to leave some advise on these topics below.

1. If i were to get banned on ace of spades would i also be banned from runescape and runescape private servers? why or why not (do i have anything to worry about being banned from runescape or runescape private servers)

2. How can i just live for the moment and not worry so much about what could happen instead of what is happening.

There is probably some mistakes in here but try to ignore it please.
I know this stuff makes me look stupid but please try to be nice because this is actually the only problem in my life right now. Thanks so much. Im looking foward to any reply's i hopefully get

 

Just take your mind off of it and do something else. And then remember that they are just games, and if you were to be banned, who cares?

 

i agree 100% ^^^, they're games and not your life so if you do get banned.. so what? start a new rs account.

 

right now im just looking for someone to assure me that i cant get banned on RS for something i did on Ace Of Spades even though they are both owned by Jagex.

 

1. No. Their games are separate.

2. If games online are your worries then you don't really have much worry. You could stop getting in to trouble, which would negate any reason for worrying.

1. You won't be banned since they're 2 different games. Yes they're same company, but they both have their separate rules.

2. Just gotta realize that it's a game and that you have a real life to get back to that means more.

 

Runescape the game itself is full of trolls, now if you're doing something terrible (wishing something bad upon someone) then there is a reason for you to get banned on Ace of Spades, but you will never get banned on Runescape for doing something bad off-site.

 

This basically sums up all you need to know. I didn't read the whole thing, but you could try to start over if you're not already perm-banned.

 

There's no way you would get banned for that, you're worrying wayyyyyy too much. Theres no way they'll ban you from anything, the most i'd see is like a mute system (if there is that in ace of spades) Getting you muted for a couple of days

 

There are much more bigger and more important things to be worrying about in life than video games.

 

1: Ace of spades is a totally different game from Runescape so therefore it will not affect you in anyway whatsoever, and the second thing is why would you get banned on a private server for flaming people? The private server is not owned by Jagex and to be honest they couldn't care less if you're flaming people. Lets things like this just go....Don't worry its not the end of the world if you ever get banned for something else on these games.

you need to learn how to chill out lol, helq your mind out by distracting yourself with other things you like you worry because you have nothing else on your mind, keeq urself entertain with other things ^^

 

Life gets better ignore ur worries and dont worry bout what people think. For example u might worry if ur sig sucks or not to other people, just like the above poster's but honestly u shudnt care, embrace ur bad sig cuz life keeps goin lol ^^^^^^^^^

 

You could just make a new account and flame people there , if getting banned bothers you so much...

 

You're a dickhead for flaming anyways imo, it's what ruins most games including rs and rsps's. (what do you even enjoy about being a cunt anyways??)

You're not the brightest fella out there either it seems if you even think you can get banned on a rsps which has no links to jagex at all. Even in the games that do have links with jagex it wouldn't matter.

Get a life.

JFC I expected this thread to have far more serious implications than video games lmao.

1: Grow the fuck up and quit being a little dickhead/bully to children on video games and you won't get hammered. Obviously these video games mean a lot to you, quit jeopordizing your accounts if all it does is stress you out.

2: I have no fucking clue. I was looking for help as well, granted my concerns are primarily focused on things that matter.. you know work, relationships ect..

Considering you are sweating the small stuff now I expect you to join the ranks of worried adults in the future. I wish I could help more, but I can't.
