Radical feminism which strives not for equality but for inequality in favor of women drives me crazy. The United States especially has much stronger equality than is often granted, and even if we didn't it still shouldn't be flipped, but rather leveled.

On another note, men and women should be equal, not identical.

 

This isn't the argument that people make against feminists. The argument is whether or not it is acceptable to hit a female in self defence, not for "no reason". It's not even a complex example, it's the first one that comes to everyone's mind, and apparently it's sufficient as a silencing tactic because it derails the entire premise of the feminist movement while still being valid.

 

I'd like to point out that women have been getting the majority of college degrees for decades and in 2007 there was a study that showed that young women with college degrees living in major cities were making more than their male counterparts. Women also are the majority vote in the US and thus they have more control in the government than men. The patriarchy is nonsense that is passed off as science. It isn't. It is just bullshit feminists preach so that they can victimize and infantilize themselves.

 

If women represent more of the electorate than men, how come they have so little representation in congress? It appears to be white, rich males that form the largest proportion of elected representatives in both chambers.

 

Because they get voted for? Doesn't change the fact that women are the ones doing it of their own free will.

 

I've met dogs with more intelligence than the American government; this is an embarrassment of an argument, especially since it's based on a single metric--and individual data do not constitute a repeatable experiment.

A collection of personal observations is not science. If you want to make the scientific claim that females are discriminated against disproportionately to men in first world countries (or in third world countries), you need to provide evidence for that. If "gender equality" is a nontrivial social ill--as you suppose it is--and if you want others to see the issue the same way, you need to provide what a scientist would call evidence: anecdote is not enough.

You're just playing word games now. If you're for the legal equality of the sexes, why call yourself a word that can be construed to mean the exact opposite of what you are?

This feminism bullshit is getting out of hand, In the UK they targeted many male celebrities for jokes and for doing wrong doings to women and then it just gets out of hand they start lying etc. and then next thing you know the guy gets punished over some peoples bullshit Chinese whispers.

 

Can you provide some evidence of this please?

 

Ask the people that voted for them then. If women make up ~50% of the population, then they must have some reason for voting men into office.
