Account Tracking

I was wondering if there is a way for Jagex to trace multiple accounts to me and if they can, how would I go about avoiding that so I look as of I am a new member.

 

They can trace it if you originally made all the accounts under your same IP. To prevent this just use a VPN, such as PureVPN(google)

 

Yeah but what about like JAG and stuff, it would be computer specific.

Outside of actual IP's, they can trace multiple accounts to you via payment method for membership (providing you're a member.) If you use the same PayPal, or same credit card, you may find all your accounts on that specific card/paypal/etc. banned (providing you did something bannable.)

 

They will trace your I.P and cross check emails. There isn't much else they will do frankly because you're just another number.

 

Why are you worried? They can't ban all your accounts for one offence on one account - they need proof for each individual account. Which is why when your account is banned you're allowed to make another one.

 

A friend of mine once sold gold on a mule to r2p, mule got permed, main got a half-bar ban. Both for RWT.

He did not use any other measures than 2 accs. Guess he got lucky yet.

 

Depends if your a big time offender, Fishy/Cls Product got fucked on every account.

Apart from the obvious such as IP and credit card association they'll search for account interaction, and although it's not proven I'm sure senior mods check to see if passwords are the same, which would effectively dismiss any doubts.

 

Jagex can trace anything if it's the same IP, doesn't matter. But if you use VPN, I think you might be safe.

 

IP, payments, and emails can all be trased but u could us a vpn like ghoast

 

Actually for stuff like Rwt, Macroing, Account Hijacking they can, and will do it

@Topic, they trace your HWID, best chance to make it look like your new is either play on a VM ( Virtual Machine which you can install on your computer ) or buy new computer

 

Can they still trace you if you just reset your modem and it changed your IP addy?

 

They'll be able to trace you, but they still need for you to commit on the other account, but they'll be watching you alot closer than usual.

Pretty sure they can yes, as i got a account banned for botting, and then 30 mins or so later, my other botter was also banned.

Yep. This right here. They won't ban all your linked accounts.

 

Why would they even consider banning you? Unless you bot/scam or whatever. No need to get a VPN.
