Are we alone in this universe?

Milky way galaxy is over 100,000 lightyears in diameter. The nearest galaxy from us is over 2.5million lightyears away. With over 100 billion galaxies in this universe, the odds are there are other planets just like us, that support and have intelligent life.

What do you guys think? This thought came into my head as I was watching the movie "Green Lantern".

I doubt we're the only living organisms in an universe that is never ending (continuously expanding).

Are we alone in this universe?

It would be foolish to say we are.

Are we alone in this universe?

I highly doubt that we are alone, the whole universe is so unbeliavably enormous in size that it is almost impossible to understand as a human being. I'm almost positive there has to be other kind of life, even intelligent life but most likely majority are just living organisms that aren't even aware of that they exist.

The size of the Universe is infinite. as in, it never ends. To think we are the only form of intelligent life on a single planet is comical.. I'm guessing % wise, there's more chance we aren't than are.

Are we alone in this universe?

The only answer you can get to this is speculation, there is no discussion to be made except others opinions. There is a possibility, but I personally am lead more towards no. There may be other living organisms but it really depends on what you consider intelligent, also.

Though I shouldn't throw out my opinion as I'm ignorant to the subject in general.

Are we alone in this universe?

There are two options: We are alone in this vast universe, or we are not.

I don't know which one is more frightening.

Are we alone in this universe?

After watching "Interstellar" well, it scares me that the universe is huge and will never stop growing.

Are we alone in this universe?

I honestly believe that it is literally almost impossible for us to be alone. There are just so many more planets and galaxies that can sustain life just like earth.

Are we alone in this universe?

I highly doubt it but whether we will find life is another question...

If anyone thinks that in space, where we are literally a speck, we are the only form of life, then they are deluded.

Are we alone in this universe?

This question has been attempted to be answered again and again by speculations and assumptions based upon the fear that we are the only intelligent species in the entire universe. Well, I dare say that I will not live to see the day of us being able to travel the speed of light to discover the edges of the universe and I highly doubt, in fact I believe it is impossible, for us to even get much further out into the universe then we already have reached. So far, nothing has turned up. There is no sign of life anywhere else. Yes, this is a scary thought.
