iPhone vs Samsung, Android vs iOS, Note 4 vs iPhone 6 Plus

In the battle of iPhone vs Samsung only one can stand on top, which phone do you prefer? I personally started out with tracfone and slowely made my way to contract providers after a long stop at straight talk and have owned an ipod touch 4th gen and more recently the note 3. I sell phones as part of my job and prefer android over iOS, so I cant wait to get the Note 4 within the next month or so.

On October 17th Samsung released the 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 4. Its screen displays more pixels per inch than any other display that they have ever made, giving the user a great image. It includes a 3.7 MP front facing camera, and a 16 Megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization to help with those shaking hands. As compared to Samsung’s past phones made from cheaper plastic it has a metal frame, and a stylus that feels more like a real ballpoint pen on paper for better and more fluid note taking. Some accessories for it include the Samsung Gear. The Battery is 3220 mAh giving 37 hours of talk time, 12 hours of video play time, 80 hours of music, or 11 hours of internet usage. It can also be used as a universal remote and has 3 GBs of RAM to allow you to utilize the multi-application windows allowing you to use multiple apps at the same time on the same window more like a computer. Also allows for a more in depth customization and allows more than apple such as music downloads, ringtones, file storage, increasing external memory, and changing the battery.

The iPhone 6 Plus came out about a month before the Note 4 and measures 5.5 inches, and is the best and biggest phone that apple has ever made. Although there are few differences from the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch 6 Plus. The plus has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a non-removable 2915 mAh battery, is NFC capable, has a fingerprint sensor, and has apples new payment system branded Apple Pay. Its sizes come in 16, 64, and 128 GB and offer no expandable memory. One issue that arose with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus was that the phone tends to bend easier than it should from normal usage such as putting it in a pocket and bending your leg or when used at warm temperatures and bent.

Don't get me wrong these aren't the only phones on the market but they are the big hitters and the spotlight is on them as compared to other phablets.

How do you feel about the above statements I just made? agree / disagree? Thoughts and opinions? Are you pissed that I didn't include blackberry or Windows? Are you pissed that I am not asking to many questions?

But for me It's the iPhone, and it's a completely biased opinion because they're the only smart phones I've owned.

 

Nearly everyone seems to have for the most part a hatred of other phones than what they've owned, I personally haven't owned an iPhone but have owned an iPod touch 4th generation which from what I've seen of each is the same thing just without calling and without cell data and have had friends that have owned iPhones and after playing with my Android phone love the crap out of it. Most people biases are based on the crapiest versions of the phones when they were first released in the beginning of each phones line, such as the samsung galaxy centura / illumina currently available on prepaid carriers, the original droids, and the original iphones which all of which are no longer sold.

Android will always be better. The ONLY reason most people get an Iphone is to show it off. It looks nicer, it has better aesthetics. but as a phone and its purposes I'd choose android any time.

 

its been said that iphones are easier to use and for the ost part they are, but only because there arent as many options in the settings and as much customization options to throw people off uless of course it gets jailbroken which turns it into without a bunch of technical lingo an android phone in an apple case.

And I agree iPhone users tend to get it just because that's what rich / cool people do. Most iPhone users that I see every day are either rich parents or their child, or your generic Starbucks drinking white girl. may seem biased but that's what I see on average, those groups or Mexican fathers that cant speak English and hear that iPhone are a good fro their fluent English speaking children.

 

Hate android phone. I have one myself and there's constant problems that take hours to fix. As soon as I get a bit more money I'm buying an iphone

 

That's not true, I got mine because my girlfriend at the time had one, and I liked how easy it was to use and how quick it is.

 

I aways prefer android. A lot more user friendly, more customization and less spying by the nice folks at apple.

 

Apples main selling point was security until the hackers from the fappening came around and blew that door wide open and releasing personal photos of the celebrities. Don't get me wrong it happens with android as well but that's a big reason people justified getting an apple for business and person security. That and imessage with friends / family.

 

Android has a more friendly interface, while ios is more built to last. Ios has better audio quality, there are no rebooting issues, and the battery charges, and lasts for a longer time than an android.

 

Apple has nearly as many issues as android with freezing up and having to either factory reset it, restore from a previous point in time through the computer, or replacing the phone completely after nothing else works. Most people with iPhones get the insurance through the carrier or get the applecare through apple themselves because outright it is an $800 phone, not sure on the new iPhone 6s most likely being much more, as compared to every other smartphone including windows and android running between $600-$700 outright brand new retail price.

And after Apple bought beats they better have soem good sound quality even though owning beats or having their sound equipment in the phone means next to nothing because looj at the original HTC One that can with beats then immediately took it out with the later remake and the M8 release.

 

The guy in the t mobile store said he made the transition from android to apple, and wouldn't go back.

I've had 3 different android models, and each one had a problem that I've never experienced with an iphone.

Every model will have their issues, but the issues seem to be more consistent with androids.

 

Samsung/android is by far better than Ios/iphone.

 

I've had an iPhone for awhile.

I like it because theres things such as iMessage. You can text other iPhone users via this type of system. You can do it from any other apple product so it's nice to be able to text from my Mac Air or iPad, etc.

Lots of iPhone to iPhone things you can do.

 

How do you feel bout windows phones? The windows 8 interface works best for phones as compared to their windows 8 on computers which reminds me of Google trying to force Google+. Just as windows forces Windows 8, Why wont They love me!

 

I owned an iPhone 6 and currently own an iPhone 6 Plus (prior to this I had a Moto X.)

The iPhone 6 was great, 6 Plus is better. The battery life on it is ridiculous and I have yet to run into any problems with it. Hell, right now it's at 50%, it has been unplugged for the last 16 hours and played music via bluetooth and via aux in excess of 3-4 hours.

I can't say much about the Note 4, but I would not get it out of sheer size. The 6 Plus is already nearing that too-big-to-use frontier and the main reason I purchased it after the 6 was due to the battery.

Regarding the bending, it was way overblown. It takes 70 pounds of direct pressure to the chassis of the phone to bend the 6 Plus and 90 pounds to bend the 6. I haven't had any problem with bending in either of them.

 

Note4, I never cared much for the iPhones. I personally never have owned an iPhone but I have used many and I just don't really like them as much as I like Windows phone. I use my phones for taking pictures all the time and in my opinion I think the Note4 has a better camera.
