7 Defence Help

Howdy,

Basically, I was AFK training at bandits on my 1 def pure, and somehow (I still can't work out how) I looked and it congratulated me on 7 defence ( I wasn't looking for about 30 seconds and the attack mode changed to defence and must of killed 2-3 bandits )

This levelled me from 79-81 combat which sucks. Now I'm 7 defence I was wondering if it's worth getting 10 for the black defender (+2 strength which actually increases my max hit by 1) but again this will level me another combat level.. So maybe I should just stay 7 ?

My full stats:

81 Combat
70 Attack
93 Strength
7 Def
83 HP
70 Range
85 Mage

So yeah, please post your opinions, I'm open to any suggestions!

If you went 10, you could use the slayer helm as well to boost your def. I'd say get 10 or quest to 45 and own that way.

 

Perhaps zerk or initiate pure?

 

I'd get 10 def if the 2 str lvls can increase your max hit, if not, don't.

 

Slayer helm? Can you buy that or do you need a certain slayer level man?

 

I'd love to be a zerk but I simply don't have the time to do all the quests, I play 1/2 times a week for a couple hours and I just tend to pk/pvp so I was just looking for a quick solution! Thanks for the input though bro

 

Yeah the black defender does increase my max hit which is obviously helpful while pking, but then again +3 Str levels will only level me up once and will probably increase my max hit.. Hmm

 

Maybe become an int pure?

 

I was thinking that, however I only ever seem to see them get wrecked on 07 scape.. Not sure it's worth the extra +4 combat levels or whatever it is for a little bit of strength/defence bonus - think I'm gonna stay at 7 for a while until higher strength then decide..

10 def I believe would be the way to go. Staying at 7 is..well..unpleasant lol. Such a weird number, + you dont achieve anything by being 7 def. Might as well get 10 and have more shit to wear

 

If I were you, I would go to 20, considering 10 sucks too, yes your def would go up a bit, but its much nicer than having 7, and its very useful being an initiate pure.

 

Might as well convert to a zerk or initiate pure.

 

I would go for 20 def and try being an initiate pure.

 

45 is really your only option here, personally. Initiate sucks and you'll end up just going zerk anyway.

Why not pay someone on site to do the quests for ya?

 

zerk would be your best bet if you can do all the quests, IF you feel you ruined your pure.

 

I'd love to become a zerk, but it's a serious amount of quests..

RFD Mith Gloves - Rune/Dragon or Barrows (including all sub quests)
Freminik Trials
Lunar Diplomacy to name a few

Plus getting all the stats/requirements... How much is all of that gonna cost realistically? Over $100 I'm guessing?

My advice is own it up and go 10
