Could Comcast be throttling my xbox connection?

I'm using wireless, yes, but this is a serious drop.

Getting from 2-5 average mbps while downloading using my Xbox One. It's been like this since I brought it here from Korea. For reference, I had speeds of around 8 mbps down in Korea (military-post monopoly) and games downloaded faster.

This time it's Halo's MCC and after around an hour I'm sitting at 5%.

My router is about 6 feet from my Xbox, with really nothing in the way. It's wireless because it shouldn't make a difference. I pay a lot for internet.

 

Tough to say, I've been constantly pissed off by Xbox One's Network, and that's with me being on pretty fast internet & a WIRED connection. I think sometimes the Xb1 servers are just absolute shit...which I really don't understand because to this day I still don't have any problems with the 360 and its network.

That is my biggest gripe of the Xb1 by far, the network. Aside from the incredibly convoluted menu + navigation system that still has yet to be fixed.

Is there a reason you're not trying it wired?

 

i was wondering something along the lines of this, i play xbox and my
connection is terrible and i'm wired, to the point if i play gta and im driving it throws me all around the map with lag

 

Just an extra cord going across my walking space that I shoudn't need to have. At 100+ down, there's really nothing I'm doing on a console that should require a wired connection.
