    How to gain weight.

    Im 18, i weigh like 115 pounds. I find that i do eat a lot. I don't go to the gym and work out, but i am really active. Really skinny and not much muscle even tho i really try alot to gain muscle.
    Think i might start going to the gym and getting some protien supplements and see if that helps.
    Thoughts?

    Google a strength training program and then increase your diet to include increased carbs, protein, etc.

    You can find certain diets on google as well.

    You don't eat as much as you think. If you really just want to gain weight, a good way to do so is a dirty bulk. Essentially just eat more than what you are now without diet restrictions.

    I had a similar problem. Most likely like stated above you don't eat as much as you really think you do. You'd say "I eat a ton" but by that you mean 2 huge meals a day. Try to literally make yourself eat on a timed basis such as every hour or two. You'll see results pretty quickly that way.

    I wish I had the worry of NOT gaining weight.

    you must have a fast metabolism, eat a lot of protein and carbs while coming up with a strength or bulking regime. avoid cardio, focus on weights and make a point of hitting the gym every second day.

    Key thing here is caloric surplus. Eat more calories than you burn = weight gain.

    Just eating more will help a bit. But you need to make sure your body is metabolizing the proteins and fats or else your will just shit it all out. Try some creatine and hit the gym or just do some basic workouts

    Healthy:
    Workout, maintain calorie intake, watch what you eat etc.
    Usually in form of muscle.

    Unhealthy:
    Eat your ass off, don't work out (Gains weight faster, but not healthy)
    Usually in form of fat.

    Ok if you pick one post on this thread of yours to follow make sure it's mine because I went through the same exact thing a few years back and heres the best advice you will ever get:

    Eat HEAPS.
    Lift HEAVY.

    Thats the formula right there. ignore anyone who disagrees with me because this worked on me and the buddies I have helped over the years. What ever your diet is, increase it, what ever your lifting, increase it, Try fatigue you muscle by 5 reps. If you have a buddie with you then do negatives afterwards or drop down a little weight and try do another 5 reps.

    This is completely fail proof. I know everyone has millions of opinions and they will all confuse and complicate things. If you want the basics then what i told you is completely concrete. It works. It's hard to increase ur diet and very expensive but if you mean business you WILL see gains no matter what your genetics. good luck.

    Eat a surplus calorie diet, meaning eating above your daily calories that maintain your current weight+ a weight lifting program would speed things up.

    As stupid as it may sound eat everything and anything while working out. Minimalize cardio. I recommend getting Muscle Milk protein and drinking it in the morning, Gold standard whey for after workouts and whenever, and take creatine right after workouts.
