been trying in vein to get my account unbanned

I have essentially gave up on this but every now and then send an e-mail to jagex which gets ignored.

the 07 account associated with it was hacked and was gold farmed on for around a week when I didn't have control of it. I've actually no idea how it was hacked, i'm always careful and it was the first time I've properly been hacked without it being my fault/and or knowing how.

I sent an e-mail in January asking for a password recovery because my account was hacked, Jagex obliged and I was able to recover my account. when I tried to relog and check the damage the account was banned for gold farming during this period. I immediately send another e-mail to Jagex stating the situation but to this day 50 e-mails later I've not had help or a reply.

This has really grinded on me for ages, I understand their policy about not unbanning permed accounts but for god sake, if they just checked their records and seen they themselves confirmed I was hacked and helped me recover the account during this time I should have it back.

any sneaky ways I can get this back?

 

They pretty much don't respond to RWT majors/botting from what I've heard sorry :\

 

Don't really have to be sneaky if you're telling the truth. Have you tried twitter, if not, send a tweet @JagexSupport and explain the situation. I've seen people getting their accounts unbanned and they were in the exact situation as you are.

 

Jagex doesn't use email support anymore. Try the ticket system, or tweet them @jagexsupport (you normally get a fairly fast reply); however, they will most likely say you are responsible for the safety of your account and therefore they cannot remove the ban.

 

Jagex support repeatedly tweet out not to bother them regarding perm bans. I really have no other ideas, and as mentioned above I used the ticket system without a reply last week.

They hear the same story all the time.

If your account ACTUALLY was hacked and banned during that time, you might have a chance through twitter, but don't bother unless it happened exactly like you described.

 

Jagex have never been too keen on responding to requests regarding perm bans.

You can contact them on twitter, they will respond you, but they will not unban your account, sorry.

 

If its banned for a good reason rwt/bottong you wont get a reply

But I personally didn't bot. I dont know what happened, the account was hacked. I assume because it had 99 mining someone has just suicided it

 

I think its a lost cause. All you can do is keep emailing them and hope for the best.

I think i've given up now. last message sent yesterday but not holding my breath considering the last 20.

Ah well, maybe one day I'll be motivated to play again

 

Best to tweet them, they have responded to me pretty quickly one time.
