    lolboost.net help

So I've recently purchased a boost off of lolboost.net, around 6 days ago. So I could get the seasonal rewards on one of my accounts. It states on their website that a booster will be assigned to the account within 48hours.

I'm posting here because that obviously did not happen, I messaged them a couple of times about when a booster would be assigned, how long it would take etc. and they gave very vague answers basically saying they will let me know via email when the boost has started.

Yesterday I emailed them saying that I expect a refund if the boost is not able to be completed by the end of season(I'm on OCE so that's in 8 or so hours from now). This is the reply I got:

    "Hey,

Unfortunately we do not provide full refunds after an order has gone through our site. We can offer you a 55% refund. If this is not what you want you can also choose to either get store credit, which means you can use the same amount of money to buy something off our site at a later date or you can choose to convert the money into coaching.

Please send us an email back with which option you prefer

    a) 55% refund

    b) Store Credit

    c) Convert to coaching

Keep in mind that if you open a claim against us we will delete your account off our website and it will not be boosted, and once we win the claim you will not be offered any refund, store credit or conversion."

I consider this reply to be extremely dodgy, and am quite annoyed at myself for using this website instead of a booster on here with more of an online presence.

What I want to know is should I start a claim against them? The order was around $150AUD so getting a 55% refund is unacceptable. What information would I need to provide to ensure I would win the claim? Is it likely they will win the claim against me?

Please note I ask these questions as I have never dealt with anything like this, all online transactions over the passed few years have always run smoothly for me.

if you did get scammed and they will not refund you file for chargeback via paypal (call them). don't mention it was virtual goods, just say it was an unauthorized purchase on your account.

Did they say when it would be finished by? Just because it says a booster will be assigned to your account within 48 hours doesn't mean it will be finished at any specified time (unless I missed it).

Also, you accepted the TOS that state refunds are not available after your purchase goes through. Sorry you didn't get your rewards, but I think in terms of legality you are in the wrong wanting to dispute your payment. Before spending $150AUD you should do a little more research next time in terms of refund policies and completion time.

Yes it was agreed that it would be finished before the season ended, and also there has been no booster assigned at all, regardless of whether it has been started or not. It took them over 2 days to even accept me on their Skype accounts so I could talk to someone.

Seems like you got scammed, just call paypal and tell them what happened, or you can lie about it and make a claim, just say someone else did it for you without your knowledge and you should get it back.

Yea +1 to what connorp said.
There is alot of sites out there trying to cash in fast money.
I personally stopped taking on orders 3-5 days before season end (officially 7 days before season end)
I did this in order to get all my customers their ranks before the season ended.
All orders that were accepted after this deadline i set, got told that they wouldn't receive any discount and have added a 10-20% fee due to the fact that they ordered late, but thus guaranteeing that they would get the rank they desired before season end in such miniscule time. I thought that was a very nice way to do it, as i wouldn't fuck over customers who has bought in timely manner to get their rewards, but customers who were late still had an option to buy past the deadline.
I think its very disrespectful to guarantee, to promise something to a customer and not delivering it.

Hope everything goes well : )
