Will COD: Advanced Warfare tournaments be played on PS4 or XBone?

Just curious, does anyone know?

I've tried looking at the MLG website and managed to find all information except for what system the tournaments will take place on.

If you could provide a source with your answer I would appreciate it.

I would suspect xbox one as they have the advertisement rights to call of duty and it's the do some displayed on the adds. Not 100% sure though

 

If I'm not mistaken weren't there some previous COD titles played on PS3s though?

 

I was told the tournaments will take place on PS4, but will offer stock Xbox One controllers that have been modified to run on the PS4 to create an even playing field for those who play on Xbox One.

Not confirmed though. You'd be better off asking this on gamebattles.

I'm going to assume Xbox since most of the competitive circuits have run off the xbox console (halo, cod4 mlg circuits ect) but I could be wrong I haven't looked into it in forever.

 

Pretty certain Xbox, as that's nearly always been the case with previous COD games. Not to mention I doubt you will see an MLG tournament using playstation's, they've been using Xbox since the days of Halo 2.

For some reason asking on their forums (gamebattles/mlg) actually did not occur to me. Silly me. I guess it slipped my mind because my thought process was if I couldn't google-search the answer off their site I'd come here for answers haha.

I don't believe this is true, almost positive past COD tournaments were played on the PS3 (don't quote me, but ghosts?)

 

Curious to know this myself. Anybody have a 100% sure answer?
