Anyone selling 1 letter names?

Is there any 1 letter name on the market? Very curious, heard a few are gone for good, many are inactive, etc.

 

I don't believe so.

 

I saw one ingame a few weeks back. Slipped my mind whose it was.

But, are they even transferrable?

 

Most, if not all are bound to the account that has the name. Some one characters have even been locked, banned, or deleted when attempted to transfer.

Only seen the name "X" at one point way back in the day.

Don't think any are roaming around anymore.

 

I don't believe any have been on the market in quite a while and if one likely popped up anytime soon I would be extremely cautious about it. It would also be near-impossible to transfer it, would be sticking with that 1 character account.

 

Some names are simply too hard to transfer unnoticed. I heard jagex is taking even more notice of transfers since the name cleanup. I wouldn't advise buying one even if the seller would be legit, as jagex would probably ban the name anyway.

 

Nope. I've been looking at the name sales page and there arent any 1 letter names to be found. I know a lot of them are banned. 2 letter names however, you'll find plenty.

 

I have a super active one, but you'd have to pay a super pretty penny for it.

 

Never understood why Jagex would give a fuck if people transferred a name. Whether for RSGP or to a friend why would they care if you wanted to give away your display name, there isn't anything illegitimate or harmful to the game about it. Strange.

 

Why are those names banned? Wasn't selling names for RSGP legal?

 

Majority of the 1 lettered accounts weren't sold by the original owner, recovery specialists were able to recover them. That is why a lot are either locked or banned.

 

Which do you have out of curiosity? And how much are you looking to get out of it?

 

I'm interested in knowing what 1 letter name you have as well.

 

5-7b, only releasing to donors $500 plus who are interested aka (Extremely Trusted). Probably won't happen, but I'd like to see if anyone comes along.
