Starting a F2P pure.

Any advice on good pure builds for F2P? Will most likely be selling the account at a later date as well. I was thinking of a simple stat build, something like

50 attack
70 strength
1 defence
50 range
31 prayer

to start off with and expand from there, perhaps sell it after 99 strength or something like that.

Thoughts/Ideas?

 

id stay 1 prayer and get 70 range and the above you have suggested, 50 magic may aswell be quite useful

 

40 atk 1 def 1 pray and desired range/str

 

Being a f2p pure, I don't think you would need 50 attack.

Range / rune 2h pures are decent if you're 1 def.

 

No need for 50 attack. I would get something like 40 attack 60-65 strength and 70 range for range/2h pking

 

I heard that F2P pking is dead now. Just make a 50 attack pure so when you can't get a fight in f2p u can hit em with the range to gmaul combo.

 

50 attack - for f2p get 40 attack
70 strength - seems decent
1 defence - obviously
50 range - try to aim for like 60 range
31 prayer - prayer isn't really required in f2p (keep it at 1)

 

50 attacks useless just stay 40 if you're going to do strictly f2p pking

Agreed with keeping prayer at 1, not needed for f2p. Waste of stats and extra cb level

 

thats my pure right now i guess its kind of a f2p pure, will eventually end up getting 50 attack for g maul on p2p though

 

Okay so knocking it down to 40 attack and bringing up the range for sure. The only reason I say 31 prayer is for the strength prayer bonus when PKing.

 

I can't really say for sure, but it might be on preference. Back when I pk'ed on F2p before EoC, prayer was actually not bad. Since your playing on OSRS I feel like it would help. Not sure how many lvls it'll bring you up if you get 31 pray, but if you plan to max it getting pray up helps a lot. You should use a rune-hq calculator to determine your combat stats and lvls with and without prayer.

 

tbh if i were you id start of with 40 attack and 1 prayer, but if f2p doesn't work out just quest up 15 prayer and get 50 attack so you could g maul/blitz in p2p. just my opinion though.

 

Interesting. Solid idea, I'll keep it in mind. However at the moment I only foresee keeping this account F2P.
