Most Disappointing Dream(s) youve ever had?

Hey all, so what are the most disappointing dreams you have ever had? I say disappointing in that either later on or immediately upon waking up, you realized it was a dream and the disappointment was REAL .

Only Rule: KEEP IT PG LOL. I know we've all had those dreams where the girls of our dreams (lame pun intended) actually pay attention to us! . That said, if it's about a girl and appropriate, tell the story!

I have a few:

Runescape Dream
When I was relatively little, around 6th or 7th grade (I think 7th), I did not have a lot of Runescape wealth. I had just completed my first mil gp and had gotten a set of Guthix. The only two items that interested me at the time were a Green Halloween mask and a Green Partyhat. I had a very wealthy friend that I knew in real life that I was extremely jealous of. Well, I had a dream that he had had enough of the game and was quitting. He calls my house and tells me to get on, so I rush onto my computer and get on. He gives me all of his stuff, a red partyhat, something like a dozen santas, and a copious amount of other items that were very sought after during that time period of Runescape. It all felt so real. I remember waking up and being so excited to go on Runescape, I was rich now after all! Upon logging in all I see is my 1mish gp and my Guthix. It wasn't until then, amazingly, that I realized it was all a dream. My dad asked me what was wrong while I ate breakfast lmao, I said nothing of course. But secretly, I was pissed my dream was just that, a dream.

Funny add-on to that story though: My friend did end up quitting around 2007 and giving me that Red Partyhat! Funny, eh?

Dreams involving the mercurial females

I have had NUMEROUS dreams where girls that I am fond of at the time (or even used to be infatuated with in the past) have been my alternate universe/ dream state girlfriend. A lot of these dreams are feel-good dreams..that is, until they nonsensically change direction or just mesh into a totally unrelated dream. The most disappointing ones, however, are when you wake up mid-dream. I remember this girl I was obsessed with said in the dream "I need to talk to you"...woke up half saying "what do you need to tell me?" lmaoooooooooooooooo. Man...women. Even in the dream world I don't understand them.

Sports Dreams
I have also had a set of dreams where after a disappointing thing happens to one of my sports teams, like losing a huge season or playoff game, I dream the exact opposite happened. I remember Duke lost to Arizona in a Sweet 16 game and I dreamed that they had won. Woke up very pissed off.

Last night I dreamed that the Dallas Stars traded for superstar Steven Stamkos. Woke up immediately knowing that was bullshit lol (funnily enough it was that dream, and not the others, that gave me the idea for this thread).

What are your most disappointing dreams? I'll add more to subsequent replies in this thread if I remember any!

 

sometimes i have dreams of me riding one of my dream cars, one of those dreams where it feels real. than i wake up to find out i was sleeping, but it still felt so good..

 

I've had tons of dreams like that man...dreams where you get something valuable in your possession. Usually upon waking up I know it was just a dream but sometimes it takes me a while to realize it was a dream .

 

Waking up right before you nut is the absolute worst

 

Honestly, waking up in the middle of any dream is disappointing. Most dreams are good and worth continuing.

Nightmares are different :S

 

Well sleep paralysis is pretty disappointing lol

 

I rarely memorize my dreams, I only do when I wake up in the middle of the night. However, the dreams I do memorize vary from sick CS:GO plays to beautiful girls. ^_^

 

Well almost saw ariana grande naked..

 

I'd cry if I woke up before that happening haha

Most of the dreams I can remember were either lame or just normal. Sometimes they were dark, sure, but I've never had a disappointing dream. The only disappointment is in me not knowing what was going to happen.

 

There's nothing to see though lol.
