Far Cry 4

Hi guys,

Anyone else here excited for the release of Far Cry 4?

After playing Far Cry 3 I can't wait for the release!

Gameplay for those who might not have seen:

 

Looks really good I hope it lives up to the hype. Going to have to wait for reviews before I buy it though.

 

I liked Far Cry 3 but this doesn't look like it has the same story-line appeal.

 

FC4 will be good no doubt. But it will never have the same affect on me like FC3 did. The jungle theme, the villians, everything..

Only thing stopping me from buying FC4 is that it seems to much of a "map addon" to FC3, same guns, same animations, some new animals etc etc.

Will have to wait and see how reviews go and I might pick it up.

 

Is the new gen release later than old gen or the same?

 

I've never found far cry that appealing, after playing far cry 2. But this actually looks like pretty good game play.

 

The first two are absolute trash. The third one saved the series.

 

Might be cause to retry the series then

 

Definitely man, the third Far Cry was freaking awesome. One of my favorite 360 games of all time. I went back and played the 1st two and they're nowhere near as good. The first one was dated and not good, the second one I got so bored of I didn't even finish.

The third one though after seeing the trailers and what-not, I pulled the trigger. Don't regret it.

Expect 4 to be good as well, though the characters don't look as compelling or intriguing as the third. Definitely play the third though.

No relation to each other between games, so you can jump right into FC 3.

Your character compelling statement kind of reminds me of assassins creed, I played number two and fell in love with the character and game play, then i tried the 3rd and I barely got 4 hours in before i pulled the pin.
