British girls on the Canadian accent

How do British girls generally view Canadian accents? I'm curious to know. British accents on girls is so sexy. I remember when I went to London 3 years ago... I was dying (not literally but srsly fucking hell).

We all have accents that vary geographically. Lets hope the Canadian one will rake in bitches.

 

From what i've seen it sparks conversation about where you are from, and people tend to find it interesting. (source: a canadian friend who lives in the UK)

 

It's not one of the accents that gets 'em swooning like french, italian, australian but as Ame says it gets conversation going; a lot of British people don't know the difference between Canadian and American and so they all get branded as the stereotypical over-dramatic American, lol

I don't understand how anyone can find the Australian accent desirable, have they ever heard it?????

 

For a large part I agree with you; many Australian accents are incredibly nasally and horrible. It does vary from area to area though. The people who've grown up in cities tend to be a bit more bearable I find.

 

Well, a girl I know moved from Australia and her accent is fucking sexy. I think she's from Melbourne.

I find only western Canadians have the stereotypical "Canadian accent". I find anyone from Quebec and easwards just sound like typical Americans if their english speakers. Same can go for different parts of Ontario.

It's just the nature of being around people that sound similar to you, if you go overseas you can tell that majority of people sound different. Really quite interesting how there can be so many different accents even within the same country.

Kind of off topic but I watch a lot of let's plays and I know they're Canadian because of how they say sorry, because there isn't too much differentiation in the Northern US accent and the Canadian accent.

 

Do you still have your New Zealand accent? Supposedly that's very attractive overseas also.

And OP only SOME british accents are attractive on girls.. im not familiar enough with the different dialects/accents to get any more specific but some are simply AWFUL.
