It's for announcing entry into FbStart. Someone just happened to ask about the link in my signature.

 

Regarding the Facebook ads

 

I've actually been advertising my apps, not my Facebook page, and have seen downloads increase at a rate of 1000% for one app and %500 person for another.

Interesting though.

What kind of software and services?

 

I don't know all of it off the top of my head but the big three are:

Facebook ad credit
Parse.com credit
Adobe Creative Cloud 2014

There's about 10 more things but I don't remember what they are.

 

If you got Facebook ad credit, then why do you need $100 more of it? Seriously, go do a quick job for $100... Why is that even a Kickstarter. If you had faith in your app you'd front that cash yourself.

 

And yes, this is clearly an ad. You keep bumping it so that people will see your signature. There's nothing to even discuss here, so it's not a good discussion thread.

 

An app is not appropriate for medical use. Especially something as complex as migraines.

This has really nothing to do with my signature. I could easily just remove it from my signature (if you make that big a deal of it).

If you read anything on my kickstarter page you'd see that I'm a university student with no money to front a $100 ad campaign. Also, I was accepted into FbStart AFTER I started the kickstarter. And I did not get that much from Facebook and the $100 boost will be very helpful.

 

Yeah that's not really true. The app does not solve your migraines but it does tell you what causes (or does not cause) your migraines.

 

I find it funny that you (a newcomer with 6 posts) would have any idea what I'm doing. I'm bumping just to have a conversation.

Well for one you don't seem to understand how forums work. They are for discussions. You are supposed to read people's messages and build off of that.

For example, this thread is for talking about FbStart and apps in general. It had nothing to with my kickstarter, which I tried to move the conversation away from by changing my signature multiple times.

If you read pretty much anything I posted you would even know that I did not finish the app mentioned in the kickstarter and it is still in development.

 

See, again you don't read people's messages. As a university student without a job (because it requires me to be a full time student) I do not have money to use on things outside of school, such as my app.

If you know anything about kickstarter you would see that it offers rewards for those who back a project, so it is not really charity or begging.
