Skype was hacked

Not sure where to post this but my skype was hacked. Please announce to my customers to CHANGE there passwords on there league accounts.

You probably fucking recovered the League accounts from your "customers" and said your Skype got hacked.

 

Well that sucks. Maybe next time you should secure your skype better.

 

PM a mod or just pm your customers.

 

Just to let you know I had 2 people who bought boost and are still being done. You can ask them yourself. There accounts were not recovered and my skype WAS hacked. Dont go around saying i did something if you dont know the full story.
Also my customers were pm'd, both passwords were changed. I just dont want anybody to add me.

Unless someone has proof that the Skype user was someone else or you, such as an IP difference / match. It would still be your problem to refund the money or damages brought on from the "hacking". Glad that you brought it to light if it was in fact a hack.

You're responsible if a pm is sent off your account as verification
you aren't if no pm is sent


just look at the leanbean 2,000$ scam for example.
He said it was hacked, mass messages where sent after the user got scammed but since there wasn't a relevant pm, he isn't guilty.

 

Seems like some bullshit, I understand that if I or any other user were to get hacked the generic response of "you should have protected your shit better" goes out the window and we claim innocence and for the most part I would hope no one would be that low down to hide behind a hacking claim just because a pm wasn't sent to save their ass.

But if there is a way to track an ip during the trade on Skype then match it to the user ip audit in their profile then that would hold anyone accountable for those actions. That would require more than most people possess in skills (including myself, but always wanting to learn more).

Even though for most people it may be common sense it should be known to request a pm for verification even if youve made trades with them in the past. Because personally I can hardly remember my own name and conversations irl so I cant recall everyone I have traded with online nor trust them just because we have made a trade before.
