Don't do the suicide thing. I've heard of Jagex not only not accepting the appeal, but calling the police on people threatening suicide.

Worth it man. That's a lot of gp to lose without at least exhausting all options.

 

Just saying, JaGeX doesn't review bans, doesn't matter if you tweet them or e-mail them.. When you're banned for "Botting/macroing", it's over. For that reason is why they do not respond to appeals.

 

They respond to you on twitter, they told me there that my ban won't be lifted and it was correct, so don't say anything if you didn't tried it yourself.

 

That's like saying you committed a crime, and when you appealed the crime they just tell you you're still guilty. Not sure how you tweeting them and them telling you the ban will not be lifted is relevant. I highly doubt the JaGeX member that read your tweet even bothered to look deep into your ban, simply saw it was a macro and said "nope".

I hope im not a killjoy, but I had my account perm banned for macroing major (when I didn't), and same as WhoNeedsAChaser i tried to appeal that ban but it just never worked, I tweeted their support and they just wouldn't budge, most of the time they say they are 100% certain and just stop responding...

 

I've seen a couple of perm bans having been reversed when people weren't actually botting, so they do have some review system (It appears to be ASAP after the system automatically bans you). I'd imagine since every goldfarming bot banned with wealth on it tweets them to try get it reversed which would be why they don't respond to you.

 

You can match up your IP with a bunch of people in the black market or public VPNs. Bad luck man =\

 

IP recovery might work but Jagex still holds you accountable for securing your account and they most likely will still say they cannot remove the ban unless they decide to rollback your XP/GP. And as soon as you start playing on your account again if it were to be unbanned, which it probably won't, Jagex will be able to see that you're full of shit if they look at your account for any future reason. Aka, you won't be able to ask for help, and if you do get hacked and something happens, chances are you'll lose your account for good that time. So basically, if you get lucky and get unbanned, stay the hell away from RWT and botting.

Also, the ban was most likely a delay; there are few mistakes made when banned. Are you 100% sure the ban is bullshit?

Proper had me main since 03. Log on for about a year+, multiple 1.47's, even in shards / phats etc. maxed. and i proper mean 200m in everything but not dung, bc it went up to 120 and i cba. but anyway....
