Need help please

Hello Everyone,

First i want to thank everyone for coming and looking at what i have to write.

So it started like this:

I was looking to get 2 accounts boosted, one account silver 4 (75 points) to gold 5. And another account Gold 2 (35 points) to Plat 5.

He boosted my silver account fine, but since he claimed that he is "Diamond" I trusted him and let him boost on my gold account.

He lost 6 of 7 games.

I feel like ive been tricked and scammed. He wasted my time and lowered my ELO without any compensation.

What should i do? Any recommendations?

Currently, gold account at Gold 2 (0 points) At the edge of being dropped to Gold 3.

For a start, you need to report him, http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer/

Fill out the appropriate template. He will be forced to either boost you to where you were asked, or refund you and get your ELO back to where it was.

Good luck getting your money back.

 

Post this under the "Report A Scammer" category with the correct format.

 

I'd suggest using Verified boosters in the future. They're not 100% trustworthy but definitely a lot less risky. It's all about the reputation.

Chargeback that as soon as possible. If you read his PM he isnt returning to this site, you wont be seeing your money back otherwise. Goodluck with the case.

I just tried chargeback. But since i sent as gift, it wont let me dispute as "Problem with item purchased" Only lets me dispute as "I want to report a transaction that I didn't authorize" .

Do i click "I want to report a transaction that I didn't authorize" ? And than what should i write?

It's hard to win an unauthorized if you just sent from your home IP as it will match your other payments.

Give your bank a ring and report the transaction to them. You are more likely to receive your money back that way.

as everyone else is saying, report him.

 

forget what everyone else is saying, just call your bank/whatever your paypal is linked to and say it was not you. don't say that you got scammed or it was for a virtual good or some stupid shit, simply say it was an unauthorized transaction.

My main concern was to get him banned so he wont trick/scam anyone else. Which he is now. I am relieved

Ill consider the 20 dollar lost as a lesson learned. And a boost for what he did with my silver account.
