[League of Legends] Require more viable proof

[Boosting section suggestion]

Right now, the rule states:

I'm 99% sure anyone can just find a picture of a blanked out name with a diamond rank on it. Example, ive just come across one scenario, this guys 'proof':



Diamond tier midlaner. Outcome?



Can barely win midlane in gold.


Which is why im suggesting users post their sythe username within their league client (so it isn't just cropped onto a stolen photo), a little like this:




I feel like this is another step to make the LoL community safer for us all. Thanks for the consideration.

 

Could still edit it to that though; but whatever, more security wouldn't hurt

 

I don't think it's a good idea to have that as a requirement (threads get locked then if they don't). - Keep in mind that, if they opt for verification, they prove beyond reasonable doubt that they are who they say they are.


It's not viable for a number of reasons:

- They can ask a friend to do that for them, who's rated higher.
- It's quite troublesome for boosting companies and freelancers to acquire such specific proof just to post a thread, as they advertise on 5+ forums, and more often than not, in the case of boosting companies, the person who makes the thread and bumps it, is just a live-chat agent not too familiar with the game.

Ultimately, it's easy for solo/duo boosters or a few group of boosters to post said proof, but for companies and freelancers it's quite hard.

It's not really needed.

 

Thats the problem i think, (excluding verification) there is nothing that we can use/see that gurantees that persons picture is theirs.. we need SOMETHING more safe, cant think of anything other than this though.

 

It's the same with RS accounts. If you want to be sure, get a middleman so they can verify before payment or have them screenshare on Skype; if they refuse it's no loss to anyone if you pass up on the purchase.

It sucks, but a manual verification process for all accounts would be even more inefficient :/

It's a problem, but there's really no way to effectively fix it. League client is just too easily photoshopped.
