    Splash training?

I'm contemplating buying a bulk stack of chaos runes with an air staff and just afk splash training in full armour. I've seen a lot of people doing this, I was just wondering what would be the best cost efficient and what xp per hour certain spells would entail. Thanks in advance.

You could just use the mind rune spells to reduce the price. I'm not sure about the XP/h, but remember to turn your accept aid off. :)

Edit: Probably around 20k XP/hour with the mind rune spells, 30k XP/hour with the chaos rune spells, 40k XP/hour with the death rune spells and 50k XP/hour with the blood rune spells.

I use a smoke staff and just buy mind runes for fire strike.

Smoke staff gives infinite air and fire runes, you get about 81k xp in 6 hours which comes out to be 9k casts.

It's a pretty good method. You can get some really fast magic levels at first and it literally requires 0 effort. I do this one some of my accs when I'm at school or asleep.

How? Iron platebody is -30, platelegs -21, full helm -6 and a kiteshield is -8. This should be -65 (+ about 10 for the staff).

You need at least green d hide vambs to go with the armour set.

I'm not too sure as I'm offline now. I'm in full iron(t) however I down that will make a difference from normal full iron.

you need to have a magic attack bonus of -68 to do the splash method, wear full armor set, green dhide vambraces or higher no cape, no ammy, and no gloves

This ^ but the minimum mage atk bonus you actually need to splash 100% of this time is -65.

Just use mind runes, much cheaper and the exp difference between chaos and mind isn't that huge

Jesus Christ. Had a retard moment. It was my Mage defence that was minus 2. My attack was infact minus 50 odd. The vambs worked fine. Thanks a lot. And yeah I'm using minds instead of chaos too ;).

Get the smoke staff if possible. Can save a lot in the long run.
Ends up being roughly 13k-14k exp/hr with fire strike. Not bad for being asleep, at work, or at school... however, when you get in the higher levels it's extremely slow.
