I have a right to know that they are beheaded instead of shot or strangled. They are giving me information based on their word choice.

 

And it makes problems worse because people are thirsty for irrelevant information to post statuses about. Specifics don't matter, they just glamorise and intensify the reports.

 

Specifics matter a ton. There is a vast difference between killing someone and defending yourself against someone who is trying to kill you.

 

SuF is right. The Middle East has to have stable governments to prevent the spread of these terrorist cells. Do you see Minneapolis being taken over by an extremist group? No countries with stable governments have problems with losing cities to rebels. There is also a great deal of corruption in Middle Eastern government, so there is a lot of distrust.

 

Russia and China also have massive amounts of corruption but they still keep things pretty damn stable.

 

Of course, any government is going to have some corruption in it. I was just saying that a long history of corruption and the instability combines for a deadly cocktail.

 

Ah yes. Makes it easier for instability to foster.

 

Its kind of fucked up tbh, ISIS is a pretty big issue and like them releasing videos of beheading people is just fucked up. With the ongoing airstrikes and Russia vowing to end the group, shit could get really fucked up and so many people could die, lets hope it boils down soon though...
