    Hi

I have a laptop that I use all the time and a desktop without a monitor. I can plug my desktop to my TV. My laptop is in a different room where the desktop is located. Is there a software that I can install on my laptop that I can use to have complete control of my desktop without having to walk into the other room?

I have tried team viewer and its very laggy. I'm actually double logging two games at once for power leveling if those who are wondering.

Umm... LogMeIn is another one? Trying to play a game on another screen through a RDC is going to be difficult due to relay-delays. You could -possibly- try Steam and add the game to steam - "Stream" it to your other computer. This is ALMOST seamless assuming a decent connection.

Assuming that you have good internet speeds....in teamviewer, at the top go to VIEW, then click on quality in the drag-down menu. Optimize performance.

If you have an integrated GPU, this is really the only way to make it workable. If you have switchable GPU's and it doesn't recognize the program, it will default to the integrated GPU by default(mine does, at least). If this happens, just right click and run with Nvidia GPU, or open a program like Steam or MSI afterburner-which will force the Dedicated card to enable.

You'll never find something that's perfectly smooth through remote access.

If you are doing local streaming, it will be pretty smooth for anything but fast paced gaming.
