Possible Namechange/Delete/rename threads please?

Could it be a possible forum addition in the future? It's annoying that this name I have here is something I have publicly used on many places before. I'd rather not be associated with botting, especially when I've already been falsely accused and associated with botting on my main account when posting on the RS forums before, because of the few botting-related posts that I've made here. As a result, I've had to change my RS nickname, and I'd really like to go back to using it without risk of being accused of botting again, so if anyhow possible, could mods make an exception in my case and telete my threads and this account?

Name change WONT be available on Sythe. It's owners decission.
Thread deletion/renaming is available only for staff and it's impossible to implement. You can create new account and request self-requested ban on this. However Jagex cant ban you for just same name on Sythe as on RS, it doesn't match If you posted screenie with uncensored RSN they could take action through

 

Name changes are generally, well in most cases offered to staff. That also, in certain circumstances, not just a run of the mill request.

In regards to your threads, if you're that bothered, search up all your posts using the search tool, and edit/delete them all (provided said thread(s) are open). In regards to thread deletions, that won't happen. Unless said threads nature warrants a deletion, i.e, phising, spam bot, etc.

You really don't need to be worried about similarities of names on RS/Sythe. Even if you had the exact name, nothing would come of it - unless you yourself have posted on the RS forums stating so and so is me on Sythe.org, which I doubt you've done.

 

Why is that such a special request? Just change my name into IlIlIl. Is that too much to ask? You do understand my RS life is being basically ruined because of this botting website.

I specifically said the problem is with people finding my name out on this website and then mentioning it during a conversation to weight down on my credibility. Such case makes it nearly impossible to continue on my point, without being harrassed by these children and their accusations on botting.

You can request a ban on this account and start on a new account, however.

 

Change my name to something like IlIlIl then? Banning this account wouldn't solve the problem, wich is making the mistake of creating an account on this forum using my RS nickname.

Let me ask you this. Why do you have a rule like this on the first place? First of all, I respect rules like this, IF they lead to the wellbeing of this forum. HOWEVER..

Do you understand that my life is being ruined BECAUSE because I can't use the same nickname in RS anymore, due to this 1 mistake I have made?

I understand if this rule exists there for rule breakers and such. However, what's being done right now is permanent damage to my nickname and image on the RS and interwebs, that makes it impossible for me to use my chosen nickname on the RS forums. A nickname wich I've had for a REALLY long time, and so you can probably understand, would very much like to be able to use in the future, even on the RS forums.

Do you understand? I have used this nickname on the interwebs and various games since 2005. You have made this rule in 2007. My nickname has basically existed for longer than your silly rule. So why can't you just make an exception and lift this rule once?

 

It becomes detrimental to the site if people change their names willy-nilly. Leads to confusion, perhaps covering of evidence, etc. So we do not permit it.

Sorry - but no exception can be made just for you. You'll have to use another nick on RS.
