Jagex is choosing from literally the worst pool of RS users when they are hiring these "Famous" Youtubers. They hire them years after they already quit playing the game, just on their "reputation", which they apparently don't check at all whatsoever, since almost everyone they have hired that was a RS community voice was totally corrupt since long before they were hired.

 

he built up a huge community base and owns a huge portion of the runescape community. he is def an asset to Jagex but who knows how smart he is, maybe smart enough for what he's got.

 

He was a lurer, which right now is something Jagex hates.

 

Sparc mac isnt a good choice, he's money hungry thats all about him, he doesnt stream anymore to entertain others, he does it because he wants money.

 

And Chris Archie isn't?

 

In my opinion you cant even compare the other streamers besides gross gore to sparc mac, sparc marc's stream literally revolves around him waiting to get money

 

Since when did everyone turn into envious little crybabies? Let me break this down for you, they are all in it for the money. It's called entertainment and noone is forcing you to donate. The donators were entertained and it's their money to give. You seem to have no idea how much time those guys have put into streaming/youtubing so please just stfu and go cry in a corner because most of you would milk just as much money or more (me included) if you were as known as they are. But at the end of the day you all are just too lazy/talentless to do what they are doing so ggwp and gtfo.

 

This is 100% true. And Tim said that he lives from streaming and youtubing so there is nothing with "moneyhungry".

 

I guess with his knowledge of the game he will do some good.

They're making money off playing a simple game. Are they supposed to turn that down? Are they supposed to not take donations? C'mon now.

 

I would milk the money too - especially if it was my career. How easy does it sound to stream whenever you want.

 

Only a matter of time IMO. Popular youtubers keep players playing the game -jagex will do whatever it takes to keep these guys uploading new content to YT

 

We need a jmod that can send us information about botting to backstab jagex then we can all bot again

 

Chris and Sparc have their flaws.

Chris doesn't put out much videos and doesn't seem involved with the community at all, but I feel like he doesn't care about money that much.

Sparc is deeply involved with the community, but definitely rwt/bot (in the past). In which I feel doesn't deserve to work for jagex. He also cares about money.

Overall, I think chris is the better choice and hopefully with his mod status, will be more involved in game.

 

Very well said, everyone talks about "oh moneyhungry" but if people are donating to you, then you would take it anyway lol, and even if sparc mac is moneyhungry, his stakes and pking is still pretty entertaining, so just stop crying...

At least Jagex are attempting to get more community involved. I mean pre-Oldschool there was no involvement whatsoever.

 

IMO his videos are boring to me. He doesn't seem to genuinely enjoy RS anymore.

 

I think Chris cared plenty about money or he wouldn't sell shoutouts, MOST DEF RWT the phat's ETC, who really knows how scum he was, just his face looks scum. sparc the same
