Hard choice...

Hello guys
I haven't played rs3 in years and i've been thinking if i should sell my main.
It has LOTS of old holidays items on it and has some nice stats (99 cooking etc), quests with a very cool and rare name.
Do you guys think i should quit for good the game and sell my main or keep it? i have this account for over 10 years, so much nostalgia...
I know it will be personal answers but i'm curious about other people opinions.

 

If you don't plan on getting back into RS, I'd sell the account only if the price is right. If not, keep it for future gameplay just in case you ever decide to come back. Selling original accounts seems lame to me; I'd hate to have put so many hours into an account of my own just to get rid of it. Especially because I spent so many of my childhood hours on RS. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to sell my own personal main, but if you're not into it anymore, I don't see why you can't make a quick buck out of it. If you decide to sell your account, stay safe on the market and good luck.

 

Yeah... I was selling my max melee main with 99 Mage, HP, Cooking, WC & Fletching and it got banned haha..

Needless to say I've got a new, shitty account now

 

I'd keep the account, if I were you. The fact that you're not 100% sure you want to sell it means you probably shouldn't, in my opinion. As you mentioned, there is a lot of nostalgia tied to this account, and that might not be something you want to let go of completely. You never know, maybe sometime down the road, you'll decide to hop on the account again.

 

If you never use it, yeah. Besides it's not like Runescape is getting any better ;p

 

I wouldn't sell it. You never know when you'll want to play again in the future.

 

I wouldnt sell it based on the factor that you dont have to enter a email address to log in.

 

I wouldn't sell it mate. I have an account with bunny,jack mask, (etc) and although I don't play RS, I still love it.

 

I would keep it man, if rs has been such a big part of your past I wouldn't part with it like that.

 

I'd say sell it. RS is just a game it's pointless being sentimental. I'd recommend selling the name and the account separately though since most of the people buying will just want the account and some just the name.

 

most def keep it unless you seriously need some money. it's not worth much anyways, if you get the drive to play runescape again, you will.

It all depends on how you feel about rs and if you think you might ever in the future continue the game, if you might (there is the slightest chance you could), then keep it, if not, sell it.

I sold my original main and i regret it alot!
keep it, youll come back and play again!

 

For me my main is way to sentimental to sell. And even if I decided to sell it, it would be hard because no one really buys accounts anymore due to a ton of reasons. Just keep the account bro.

 

Yes RS is getting bored. But if you sell it you will loose your childhood.
