Training. How do you do it?

Thought it would be a good idea to play rs again even though bots are pretty much nonexistent. Never gotten a legit 99. or even a 90. so now im at the around 60 str mark and holy fuck lmao im fucking bored and cba.

How do you do it?

 

afking at zombies or giant spiders

 

Once u get ur stats high enuf maybe 70 each go for nmz afk able and great exp

 

i afk crab on my pure and quest diffrent accounts or watch netflix

 

I always loved training my combat through slayer, even though I knew it was slower exp. I'd 100% rather do it through slayer and do it 2x slower than boringly sitting at spiders.

 

I feel ya. Just watch movies/TV in the background to keep you entertained while you train the account. Takes your mind off the grind I'd say.

BUT, there is HOPE.
I suffer from the same problem.
I listen to some music in the background if the skill isn't AFKable. But most are.
ex.magic,combat,wc,fish,mine

Movies, streams, and tv works as well.

 

The best thing to do bot/get 70 str (what I did before i got a 2 day ban, then i stopped), then just afk nmz (damn easy and ive gotten 88 str legit from there haha)

 

Couldn't agree more, especially with it being in Old School. The variety of Slayer and the uniqueness of drops = Slayer is the best!

Get a solid friend group. When you go to train, have intelligent conversations and just chit chat. It'll go by a whole lot quicker, and yall can stay together. For example, I train with a group of guys I met on tutorial island. We've kinda stuck together so we're literally all the same stats, and we rotate each week on which stat whoever chooses to train that week. You would think we would get bored of each other or bored of training a stat and wanting to go train something else that week, but trust me, you don't. I HIGHLY recommend you find a group of people you can train with and are intelligent enough to hold decent conversations.

 

best way to get max melee/money. slayer is different than most skills and most people enjoy it. try that out

 

AFK at nightmare zone with guthans

 

Im having the same issue but however im too lazy to even get on the game because i know how much work there is left

 

afk nmz with guthans, or rock crabs, or just do slayer

 

Looking at this thread, makes me pumped to play again but argh no time at the moment, especially with uni coming up.

 

Got 99wc semi afking it, made decent bank too. Just watched a load of tv serie's whilst doing it

 

that's what i do. been watching game of thrones. though some skills you can't. if you can set up mousekeys its GREAT
