How do people even profit?

I've wondered this for a while now, how do people even profit from selling bonds in the RS markets?

They sell the bonds for 7.2M-10M depending on the seller, but in-game you can buy a bond for around that amount...... Could someone enlighten me on this? or is it a closely guarded secret?

 

Essentially, the bond market exists so that market users can charge people who strictly play 07 a premium on the exchange rate. They don't actually buy the bond with EoC and trade it for EoC.

 

oh okay. So basically the EoC prices they list are just breakevens.... Thanks for clearing that up because it confused me. Don't play 07 so...

 

It's more of an easy way to gain vouches.

If anyone is buying bonds for RS3 directly from a user and at a price higher than GE, then they are silly.

You buy the bond for a $ value of RS3 lower than the $ value of the RS07 you sell it for.

 

There's not really much profit to be made from flipping bonds.
Like everyone else said, it's an easy way to farm vouches.
