Ebola jokes

So a lot of people making jokes about Ebola and everyone is cool with it but as soon as someone makes a joke about cancer they're sick in the head. Wtf is wrong with people?

 

haven't seen any ebola jokes yet but probably cause ebola is sort of a 'new' outbreak where as cancer has infected many people/family members.

 

Memes, jokes all over Facebook and some on Twitter more Facebook though.

 

Yeah its kinda funny considering cancer affects a small portion of people whereas ebola is a national threat.

I live in dallas metroplex too. Not really scared, though I did avoid the state fair with ebola in mind. Thousands of people together on cotton bowl weekend . Nope.jpg

 

most of the Ebola jokes are racial based (the disease originated from a black population) and everyone's so extremely racist they don't see that its bad.

I wouldn't consider a small portion being 30%+ of all people.... Especially since ebola probably effects less than 0.1% of all people.

You said effects, cancer effects 30%+ of the population. Just because ebola is contagious doesn't mean its a more eminent risk to you than cancer is.

based on the current data ~1/3 of the population will have cancer in his or hers lifetime. The odds are that the % is 33+ for our generation for obvious reasons, but yeah cancer vs ebola is a huge difference. Ebola comes from bad hygene and its rather weak. Water and soap is all you need to kill it. Start washing yourself and you might not get ill. That's the main reason the outbreak is in Africa. Dirty apes running around spreading diseases and shit. I can understand where the memes and jokes come from.
