$13m lawsuit proves Red Bull doesnt give you wings

So some guy got redbull, drank it, he didn't get wings, and sued redbull and won his 13M$ lawsuit.

Now if you go to http://energydrinksettlement.com/claim and file a claim with some basic info, you can get yourself 10.00$ or 15$ in redbull product

I honestly don't know how such a huge company could look past something like that, especially their slogan or motto or whatever it would be. So crazy

Still tho, 13 MILLION USD over something as simple as the fact their claim that it gives you wings, doesn't actually give you wings. As a business person, you would think if you are going to make a false claim as a slogan, it's going to be plastered all over the cans and commercials and anything to know it doesn't actually give you wings ya know?

They will pay out up to 13 million. But if 13,000,000 apply then everyone gets a dollar. That's how class action lawsuits work, the little people (aka us) rarely get much of the payouts. Lawyers will make a ton off fees (think of it like an mm). Redbull, only settled because it was cheaper than keeping this lawsuit ongoing.

You would think after how much they spend on advertising that they would have a disclaimer stating 'Red bull does not actually give you wings' even if it's in small writing somewhere on the can it would still be valid
