Your best MMO experience/memories.

Personally, DCUO and PS2 were my best experiences.

DCUO is such an amazing game, and I'm having the feels to get back into it after Destiny. PvP, PvE, clans, everything's awesome.

PS2 just gave me a semi leading entire platoons into battle, simply perfect (military getting me here...)

 

One of my best experiences was when I discovered mob tagging (power leveling) on wow, me and my two friends leveled all of our alts up in a couple of hours. There is something addictive about getting really fast xp on MMOs

 

Well yeah, that's what they're meant to make you feel lol. It's a sense of achievement and always the "just one more thing" next goal to hit. Keeps players addicted.

 

One of my most memorable experiences was in maplestory went I did the first Zakum run (hardest boss at the time) with the guild I helped start. 12 year old me was pretty excited heh.

Unfortunately that game is now dead.

 

When I won my first good loot on runescape

 

When I eventually got my first 99 on RuneScape back in 07. Twas cooking though, but I was 13 so...

 

RuneScape: Achieved full mithril and killed a goblin with one hit! A 5 was insane back then haha.

So many runscape stories, you guys have seriously missed out on good games.

Battleon was the shit used to play that at the library everyday when i finished school .. was like 8 :love:

 

Spending the summer of 2011 getting 200m Dungeoneering was probably the best time I've had on RS, never played any other MMO seriously

 

Hosting flowers in 2012-2013. I didn't even RWT back then but it was still the most fun I've ever had playing video games. I met so many people that I still talk to today from gambling. I wouldn't have known about sythe without gambling.

 

Never RWT back then when I still played as well lol. Had a lot of fun with clans and the PvP community back then in RS. XD The nostalgia pking lol.

Aside from that though, just started picking up some new MMOs. Been playing Tera, Archeage, C9 (somewhat).

 

Same, gambling with my clan in rs was for sure the best period of time even though I didn't RWT either

 

My best memories was on runescape in 2012, where I merched 1 billion gp in 1 day with drygored (made 100M+ pro drygore flip) and I got rich and I flipped phats until I got banned for botting

 

I feel like i'm going to remember this forever x.x

Back in 2007, me and my brother were playing Runescape for a couple of years and we were doing a quest. We walk to a spot and there is a guy dying in armour we had absolutely no idea about (I'm about 99% sure to this day it was infinity) And the guy died. We saw 10m cash on the ground, a full set and a bunch of runes. We were sooooo happy and we stayed up for like 48 hours or something to celebrate, it is unexplainable the pure happiness we had in our minds at that time.

Later, I thought I was a cute little troll back then and I dropped the infinity hat at stealing creation (or whatever the minigame was called) Then the boat sailed away and I lost it, I was never aloud back on my brothers account after then

There's alot more to the story, but theres a tl;dr version.

I also remember me and my brother staying up until legit like 1 am trying to do the mysterious old man events. Back then we needed to get our moms help for that shit

I was like 6-7 This was like 2006ish

 

Runescape was my life from like 6th to 9th grade. So many late nights PKing with my friends. We would all run to the Black Knight's Castle and camp there with each other until we found some unsuspecting people and just trashed them. Always on a group call so we didn't have to type, I can't tell you how many times we woke our parents up from screaming soooooo damn loud at good loot or someone dying or some shit. Some of the best memories of my adolescence, as sad as that may seem. What can I say, I used to be a total geek.

Don't even get me started on WoW...

 

The only MMORPG games I've played is runescape and final fantasy 14 (i wont count warcraft cause i quit on day 1) I did use to enjoy playing red alert 2 and age of empires 1-2 online, very addictive gameplay when people don't cheat.

 

I've come across some here and there such as MapleStory and Dark Orbit but I've never actually consistently played any other MMO besides RuneScape. I've never had the desire to play another MMO because I'd rather not spend a lot of time on a game again like I have on RS. I'm more of a console player nowadays so I'm not so inclined to achieve so much. I can only imagine how stressed I'd be to want to achieve the "completion" of another game (i.e. max/comp cape on RS).

 

Getting my first 99 on runescape, was cooking but who gives a shit, it took me like 12 days and it was a complete waste of time.
