This thread and report is a fail all around. I told clyde to get more opinions from other mods so you guys could make a group decision. It has nothing to do with disrespecting ryans judgement but Clyde and me feel he should get more opinions on the matter. Hes fine refunding if he has 2 but stop being cunts and actually post useful shit.

Edit: Unless you forgot this is why we have the 2 veto rule and why the pardon system works as a group as well. Dont you think you should apply that to The Report A Scammer section. Especially when it involves complicated cases/

 

I do agree that before just shutting something down such as a suggestion or scam report, it should be discussed with more staff members. The mod that worked on it originally obviously can make his choice but then others should weigh in and check it out.

TBH Ryan is right. It is precedent for him to refund, it doesn't need more mod opinions.

Ot: You have to take his words at face value. Ive had plenty of accounts with correct info be denied because i wasnt using the I.P used to create the account. How do you know he wasnt rat'd and the account hacked. He could of sold the account and just want to scam clyde. When clyde recovered it said the account had been sold multiple times/sharing.
Ive also been fucked for a refund when the user botted and lied. Said he used vpn's and didnt bot the account he bought from me. When i finally got the account back after being locked 10x i found that the herb lvl was rolled back and he had a shit ton of herbs. When i questioned him he admitted he bot'd and re bought the account. Been a month no issues

 

I see your point, but as far as I can see, the warning was given to Clyde for previously selling/sharing the account. If he didn't inform the buyer of this, and since the account was locked for that specific reason, it makes sense that clyde would have to refund.

that email was sent after he tried recovering it for the user. If hes unable to recover the account tho he is liable. Unless he stated he wouldnt be responsible if it was locked,banned or recovered.

 

Even then he'd most likely still need to be responsible. I mean unless he explicitly stated 'Hey, I've botted/traded/shared the fuck out of this account and you agree that you are likely to have it locked/banned." I mean it would have to be explicit.

 

This is exactly what I mean. The only way clyde wouldn't be responsible for this account being locked is if he had warned the buyer that, due to previously selling/sharing the account, the account may be locked. If the buyer still agreed to purchase the account, I'd say clyde wouldn't have to refund him, but that isn't the case.

 

Yeah you can't say you aren't responsible if the account gets locked/banned/recovered. Locked/recovered you have to repay/help get it back and banned it depends on the type of ban and information disclosed previously AFAIK.

Jack ive sold 10 accounts and listed that i wouldnt be responsible if the account was locked, banned or recovered. The accounts are sold as is. How can you say anything otherwise to make someone responsible.... If it clearly states that you wont be responsible and that your buying at your own risk how much clearer do you need to make it? Dont like the terms i set dont fucking buy it... Thats my opinion anyways

Ill continue to flip accounts and sell them as is. I openly say i wont be responsible for bans/locked, You buy at your own risk. I tell them im not the original owner and provide them with the info i have. Now plz tell me how this is any different then buying a pack of cigs. You know they can kill you. It clearly gives you a warning yet you choose to keep buying them. You assume the risk and it clearly fucking tells you so. If your to stupid to adhere to it then fuck off.
