Have A Question About Writing/Selling Guides

Okay, I've never really bought or sold a guide on here, but I'm wanting to sell a RWT guide on a method I've been using for years and never got caught.

My question is: in what form do guides usually come in? Like, the guide is very simple, and kind of just common sense, so it wouldn't take like an e-book to explain, so would just typing it out for anyone that would want to purchase it suffice? Or is there some sort of quality requirement or something?

This isn't a sales post, so don't post here about being interested in it, which means I think I put this in the right section lol. But feel free to PM me about that.

 

You should probably write a guide on how to do it, then write a FAQ section. Also, your gonna need a trusted to read over your guide to make sure it's legit so they can verify it.

 

Adding detailed pictures, correct grammar, in depth explanations and good use of colour and font is all vital
Then once you've made a nice looking guide, find a trusted user to review it

 

You can just type it up in a word document with detailed pictures and steps.

However, if it's common knowledge and really simple, you won't be able to sell it. It's got to be a well written guide. Not something like "Stake it" or "Drop trade it" with steps on how to do it.

It's got to be specific and unique with well written out steps. You can have a mod or someone trusted write a review for you to see if it's able to sell or not.

 

just be sure to include everything detailing the skill/quest/whatever you are making in a good order that people can follow from beginning to end, or middle to end, etc

 

Thanks for all replies guys. The thing is, it literally is as simple as typing a couple words, and I have no problem letting a trusted in on it to verify. There's just not much to it, but I've literally never heard of anyone else using the method.

EDIT: The guide is as simple as typing a paragraph, not the method lol. Thought that might confuse people.
