BTC dropped $70~

Dropped by ALOT, Hopefully I hope it rises but it had a sudden drop in a day or two. Opinions?

id never invest in any cryptocurrency anymore, most of them are scams but i think btc is done

 

It's not done yet, it will be there and it will cost like 100-200 dollars at the worst of situations. This big drop is because people don't save their BTC but sell them instead so yeah. They will even drop a little more and then I believe there will be like an interval price for them.

 

Nah, BTC won't drop below 300 again any time soon. It was a temporary panic but I do believe the current mean price deserves to be around 350-400 if you consider in mining costs and other things.

 

What makes you say it's a temporary panic? I'm out of the loop, but I'm wondering what could cause one right now. Your second statement also contradicts your first.

 

Wasn't it you who said it would never go under 500$ again back when it dipped and came up to 640ish.

 

I too believe BTC will have a stable rate of 300 at least, no more than that and no less.

The price has actually been increasing steadily since the creation of this thread.

Dropped $9 in ~14 hours. From 401.50 to 392.40

 

well it got over $400 thats why , Im glad it still in the high 300s

It's hard to still have faith in Bitcoin ever rising like it did in the past. I personally don't own much in Bitcoin anymore.

 

I don't think I've said that, at least not on Sythe, although I have had good confidence in BTC prices overall and that statement wouldn't be far off from my opinions.

MTGox was able to thoroughly fuck up the prices with their manipulation and there's a bunch of other big whales too who have knowingly manipulated the prices.

I do feel that short term speculation is usually a gamble unless you have some sort of specific information that you know that can get you an advantage. I'm still confident for BTC in the semi-long run taking the current price as a baseline.

 

that's why i dont own any, anymore. i can't see it soaring out of nowhere again, it seems like it's died off with all the spazz, but i don't read about it much anymore anyways. im not seeing it on the news or news sites anymore either

 

lol I almost misread the title there, I thought you meant BTC dropped to $70 per BTC. Thank god that didn't happen, I would have lost a lot of money.
