Can we get a cars thread or section?

Like cars you have, dream cars, a car club, or your car and it's modifications... Ect.. Stuff like that. I think would be cool

 

These threads get a good number of replies, however there arent very many of them. Best left in OTD where they are now.

id be down for a straight up car section with a lil diversity. one of my favorite passions is old muscle cars and helping/watching peoples projects come to life.

 

I love cars and thus support a car section. A friend and I discussed this a while ago actually.

 

I think General Discussion is good enough, what I would be down for is removing a section like RSC, that's soooooo dead lmao.

There simply isnt enough interest to warrant a section. Half or more of sythes members arent even old enough to drive. The bulk of car threads are "what kind of car should I get" or "whats your favorite" circlejerks.

 

A THREAD would be ok for this in the general section, stickied maybe, but a new section wouldn't be a good idea.

Reason is beacuse, not only would there not be activity, but What is there to talk abotu cars? Don't get me wrong, I love cars but there is not enough to talk about cars and I doubt anyone here watches lots of racing, (Maybe stunts), It was quite hard to bring the sports section back because many people here are active on sports , Any talk about teams (etc) I doubt that it will happen for the cars section

 

I'd rather have a subsection or something rather than having them in the General Discussion section.

Support some sort of subsection/sticky/whatever else you want.

 

As people have stated, it'd get a few posts here and there but then it'd die out. Simply not enough interest to warrant it.

I personally looked at the general section and believe a car section would actually be pretty cool still. I can see where you think it wouldn't be too active but hey I'm a pretty advanced mechanic and certified since I do it in the army as second job. I personally believe I could help a lot of people with question they might have with there own car and save a bit of money.

A lot of people run into problems. Instead of Google or a lying mechanic ask someone legit on here. There's many possibilitys I think the troubleshooting would gain a lot of attention. I would be way more than happy to show steps and pics of how to do certain things yourself on your own car. Let's face it we wanna game not dump money into cheap car fixes which we are lied to costing a fortune.

Feel free to make your own threads etc but there isn't the activity for a section *yet*.
