VoG Complete - Destiny

After 6 hours with one group getting to the final boss and another hour on him, finally complete. Feels awesome, this game keeps impressing. Really hoping they listen to feedback and continue to improve where gamers have noted.

Brings me back to the old raid days in DCUO/WoW. The feels.

 

7 hours is a lot of time to devote to a fucking boss.

 

6 hours was getting there and past the other bosses, plus our entire group was learning the raid. It took the first group that did it about 16 hours from release, they took breaks and a shit ton of energy drinks. The puzzles and mechanics of the fights are just awesome.

 

I haven't tried raids yet but 6 hours seems pretty long to dedicate to a raid but it's cool how you can leave and retry it. What level were you for VoG? I'm only level 18 at the moment so I doubt I'd be able to raid yet but I'll probably try it out once I get higher level.

 

My group that had no hope was 25/25/25/26/26/26 with myself being a 26.

Group that destroyed him was 26/27/27/27/28 with myself being a 27.9. I have the shards to upgrade but I'm waiting, as the legendary gear I have that isn't maxed doesn't fit my spec perfectly so I'm waiting.

Can't wait to play the DLC tonight!

Ouch, why? Two nightmares and weekly heroics/week are enough for me. I still actually main a blue primary, though I use a maxed Ice Breaker mainly. My SUROS for PvP though all day. What level are you? I'm on Xbone

 

I completed hard about 1 week ago and beat the Raid on normal the second day it released I played 10 hours straight the first night it was so much fun


I've killed destiny now though maxed level best guns in the game nothing left to do....

Halo master chief collection will be amazing.

 

I'm actually anticipating CoDAW and the Halo release. CoD because I'm just ridiculously good at those games, and Halo because duh. I'm almost complete though too, just raid boots. On to my Warlock and I imagine I'll get bored soon after.
