What prayer level should I get on my G-mauler

I created my account yesterday, and have done many of the important gmauler pure quests, I'm up to mith gloves and have quested most of the attack xp quests.

Here are my current stats, I have not trained combat at all, that's why my stats are low.

I really want to get avas accumulator, it makes ranged training a whole lot easier, but in order to do animal magnetism I have to get a minimum of 15 prayer, so I would just go and get 31 prayer. I was originally going to stick to 13 prayer but now that I see animal magnetism reqs a minimum of 15 I dont know what to do.

So should I go with 31 prayer and be able to of protect item and have avas accumulator, or just get 13 prayer?

 

Stay at 15 prayer. 31 isn't worth it and protect item isn't worth it because gmauls are like 60k.

I'm making a gmauler too and I'm gonna stay at 15 and ava's / ancients.

 

I agree with you, cuz prayer add only combat and it does not change a lot of things.

in my opinion check the damage output.
the higher your strength the better your prayer will work.
check at which level your maul will start being equal or better at 31 prayer n stay 15 untill that level

 

i have an account just like that and once i start questing i will stay 15 prayer like the others stated above

 

Stick to the 15 prayer since you'll be PKing with it and combat levels matter obviously.

 

31 prayer all the way. Them gmauls accumulate yo.

 

High Str = 31 Pray
Low Str = 15 Pray

 

i have a g mauler with 85str. i recommend staying 15. also get 55 slayer for lbs! gl with it all.

 

He could always take a fury or a bring for the str bonus, then he could protect item...

However personally, I have always liked 43 prayer incase I get into trouble and need some help, which is what I would recommend...
