Design the mini-rank and be in to win!

• Size is 32x32
• Must be transparent
• Unlimited submissions allowed

Simplest way to make an icon:

Find your image on Google, I recommend using transparent search to avoid ugly background boxes which can be a hassle if you use this simple method:

Click the image of choice, then choose "View original image"

Check the image is transparent, I usually just quickly drag the image on to the nav-bar and if a white border appears, it's not transparent

As you can see, this one isn't transparent:

Next, go to www.online-image-editor.com and paste the direct link you got from "View original image" in to the upload box:

You'll find a toolbar above your image, find the "Resize" tool and resize the image so it's no bigger than 32x32.

Have "Aspect ratio" ticked to avoid stretched/blurry icons

Apply this change and then right click the image and "copy image":

Go to www.imgur.com and hold Ctrl+V to upload the icon:

This step is important, as although you can get a direct link from the editor, they expire shortly.

Submission stage lasts 1 week with the polling stage being shortly after with the winner walking away with one of the following mini-ranks at random:

Just a heads up I think we're going to avoid party hats & santa's because they associate with staff.

Know that this mini-rank will apply to activity in all of the RS sections including 07.

looks very nice but if someone joins sythe and has no idea about RS, the cracker doesnt really ring the bell as its RS, pernoally I support it, but something like the Logo like LOL participant minirank will probably win, having my hopes high on this esp

 

Yeah I figure a more recognizable symbol (like yours) will probably get picked, but I always thought a cracker minirank would look cool. I also figured, if unsure about what a minirank is for, one can just hover their mouse over it to get the name

 

no no, your minirank is very good (I liek it better than the one I made) but it doesn't really symbolize RS, Tbh This would be a hard choice because the "Sythe RSPS player" is very close to the minirank , Its going to look like "steam verified seller" and "steam participant forum" if anything

 

Not like many of the mini-ranks are recognizable as is anyway. Besides, if someone plays Runescape, they know what a Christmas Cracker is.

If they don't...facepalm.

As for non-RS players, still wouldn't really matter if they can't tell what it is. I cant tell what half the current miniranks are.
