Poem for a girl.

I'm going to write a surprise poem to this girl and try to ask her to homecoming (gl to me). Can anyone help maybe give a nice poem or something and I can add on? (Pls no poems like roses are red violets are bogdan i wanna fuk you). Real poems only =l

Do you know any of her interests, hobbies, etc.? A random poem won't really tickle her fancy if it has nothing to do with her.

For future reference, half of what makes these sorts of poems corny as fuck is poor metre and simple rhyming schemes. It's fine to rhyme, but vary it around and don't try to rhyme perfectly. Put thought in to the building blocks behind the poem itself, and not just the words. In other words, figure out something unique, rather than something that sounds like it could have been come up with off the cuff.

As an example, here's an arrangement of a famous Shakespeare sonnet

 

Hello girl, I'm afraid to speak
Runescape made my game so weak
But this poem should serve to show
That with you my sperms do flow

Your eyes are pretty, like Rune Kite Shields
Level 99 beauty is a skill that you might wield
To you this is jibberish, but to me it's life
Join me on Sythe, and be my wife

 

I think somebody posted earlier about get a poster and right something on there. You can still do your poem on there, but on the poster you can make it look all colorful as well (that's what people at my school do when they ask somebody to homecoming).

Or what I thought was a pretty good idea is get two Starbucks/or any other coffee place that she might like (All girls love coffee) and get one with her favorite coffee and one with just an empty cup. Have them next to each other and and a paper that says "Homecoming?" and on the full cup of coffee says "Yes", and on the empty cup it says "No".
