Disputing the outcome of a scam

Please, don't respond to one thing I say on the thread and then post. There's no point in that. Read over the thread, and please give me a thorough response to all points mentioned. Thanks.

I'm sorry but the verdict in my opinion is just comical. Not only do I provide concrete proof that he changed my name and took full responsibility for doing so, but he has NO proof other than his word, and you still agree with him.

If you rule in favor of Pie_Overlord you're saying to all future name buyers that all they have to do is say it's sniped and they can buy the name half off pretty much. Pie_Overlord knew the name sales market was a tricky market and he knowingly took the risk for transferring the name and claimed full responsibility for it.

My TwC was removed as I made it clear I had nothing to do with any 'sniping' business.

Let's look at the facts:

  Pie_Overlord had full access to 'Battle' for ~30 Minutes
  Proven here by looking at the timestamps

• 
  Pie_Overlord took FULL responsibility for the transferring of the name and anything that happened during it.

  I no longer own the name 'Battle'

• Pie_Overlord acted as a defacto MM without my knowledge
  Proven:

To the first point:

• Pie_Overlord had 30 minutes time to transfer the name and no one else knew the exact moment he changed the name (since you keep claiming it appeared to be a 'manual' snipe). That's more than ample time to transfer it.

To the second point:

• This is why this verdict on half payment is ridiculous. He agreed to being FULLY responsible for transferring. I don't understand how you're bypassing this fact.

To the third point:

• I have one Runescape account, and access to 'Monkeybr4' previously known as 'Battle'. All of my friends know this and can attest to it.

To the final point:

• Think of it this way. A buyer (Raza), a seller (me), and an MM (Pie_Overlord) set up a trade. I give Pie_Overlord my gold or commodity all fine. He loses it somehow, hacked, scammed, lured, phished... It doesn't matter, the FACT is he lost it. In every other case you would agree with me and make the MM pay back the full amount. This is just ridiculous that you're dragging this out.

And I'd like to present a case from the past, Traxar V. R2Pleasant which can be located here. Same basic trade where the more trusted user of the two logs in to the account and during that time the commodity (gold + item in their case, name in mine) was lost. Mods were all in agreement R2P would be held fully responsible for the good even though he never disclosed taking full responsibility. These two cases are identical in theory except for the fact I required Pie_Overlord to take full responsibility. How can you tell me I'm only entitled to half of my goods when staff overwhelmingly favored Traxar be paid in full?

Was Pie_Overlord not in FULL control of my account and name?

The bold part of Frenzy's quote is quite important here. I had Pie_Overlord agree to be fully responsible for anything happening to the name, he accepted. How is this not a clear cut case in my favor?

And Raza (who hasn't logged in over a year) still hasn't accepted my Skype or tried to make any contact with me. This is obviously a stall by Pie_Overlord.

Alright i'm sorry.. but Drento, can another mod look at my case. You're just way too busy IRL to be handling this as it's been going on for over two weeks now.. This should be an easy settlement. Please, can someone else look at my case and update it.

The problem with name sales is the sketchiness. We cannot in anyway prove that you don't have the name anymore nor can we prove that Raza/Pie has it. Pie claims you logged into the name shortly (within that 30 minute window you said he had access to)

The 50/50 split is how I'm leaving this. There is no way to prove this and thus means we cannot put one person at blame as it is impossible to put together a valid scam report will full proofs. If you read through our rules of this section we need to PROVE guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. There's a reasonable doubt this could have easily been on your side as well.
