Strange error screen

Windows might have just updated your suite automatically man it happens all the time. The error isn't a good one, probably caused by forced shutdown in the middle of updating or after the first restart.

If you created restore points i would restore to the previous bro

 

99.9999% of all blue screen errors occur in memory. Try remove a stick and then doing youtube for a while, then add another stick and repeating the process until you find the bad stick.

 

Restore points? Stick? You guys are gonna have to dumb it down a bit for me.

 

is it a desk top or laptop. hes talking about the RAM. little chocolate bar sized thing people call "sticks" one of them must be faulty and is causing the blue screen. but because computers have between 1-8 "sticks" you'll have to do it via process of elimination until you find the dead stick.

 

Yeah sorry, I thought it was general knowledge to know a "stick" meant a "stick of ram" heh. But yes, the above post is exactly what I meant doing. Thanks for clearing that up, Darbss.

 

Sounds like a page file error. Nothing disastrous if so, it resets most of the information inside of it each time you reset the computer. Sounds like windows attempted to place data in the page file for recall later, and when it was needed it was not available/could not be found.

 

I did a system restore and now I see this whenever I try to use MS Word and apparently any other Microsoft application





I've been looking around the Control Panel to no avail. I can't seem to find a helpful guide through google or the Microsoft FAQ's. Any suggestions? Maybe I'm not looking in the right part of the Control Panel.

 

just uninstall office and re-install it bro, the installs just broken

 

I'm not sure there is much you can fo about a blue screen of death.

 

You have to install it again

 

Not true at all. A lot of BSOD's are caused by drivers.


Install Bluescreenviewer by Nirsoft it'll be able to give you some more information.
