Asking for a Bit of Help with Ubuntu and Botting

I have very thoroughly researched the entire botting situation with RS3, and while I am nothing more than an amature, I have attempted to do as much of this through searching and researching various forums and such before now. I am also aware of how quickly bots get banned. This is mostly a curiousity of mine though, so I figured I'd try it out.

I have a private server I purchased, nothing expensive, in order to launch the bot without using my own IP adress. However, it has been absolute hell getting this to work, since the Virtual Private Server uses Linux, which I never had experianced before. So now that I have a desktop setup, java downloaded, firefox installed, etc.etc.etc. I wanted to try using RS Bot from Powerbot to see how this all works. I figured I'd make a new account under a disposable email and bot off of that.

The problem is, I can't launch RS Bot for some god awful reason. It just refuses to load it.

So, my question is very general. Can I get RS Bot to work on an Ubuntu private server? (I read 2 guides for CentOS, and used that to setup the Ubuntu one, which was not the easiest thing in the world since the commands are different..)

And if not, what bots would anyone recommend? I am not against paying for a bot, but I was not going to sink more money into a bot before I had at least seen if I can get a bot running on a VPS.

EDIT: Apparently the past few hours was just shy of enough time to figure out the issue...so now I have it all working. That being said, if someone has any reccomendations for other programs, paid or otherwise, I would love to hear.

Also, this is my first post here. I've lurked around for a while, but it seems like this is a decent place.

Yeah...the sad part is I found it about 5 minutes after I initially posted this. So I do apologize. I noticed its your guide as well, so thank you for that.

That being said, if anyone has recommendations for other kinds of Bot's I'd love to hear it as well. I considered Tribot, but it doesn't seem like it works well with RS3. Most of its functionality is built exclusively for OSRS if I'm not wrong. I also heard there are concerns about Epic Bot and hacking.
